This store has gone down over the years. They close an hour early or open way later than their posted times. It seems they have a new person every time I go in. They had a young guy /manager who literally had the doors last during the middle of the day about 6 months ago. Several customers and myself were knocking on the door. He finally came out with and employee or girlfriend but they were both dissolved and her skirt was hiked up and her shirt was unbuttoned and misbuttoned. They are always sold out of stuff. They are a mess here They just showed up, late again 13 min late and asked me and and another customer to wait 15 minutes while she gets the store open. read more

Conveniently located to a gym a regularly go to, went in for the first time today, and didn't bother the associate because I already know what I wanted and what my budget was, I get to the register and simply ask what the return policy is, and the response I get is, "if you don't like that one, I'll show you the one I recommend". 40 points towards my account? What account? You didn't ask me for my name. I just looked up and said thanks. No, they never answered my question about the refund policy. The one you recommend? For what? I didn't ask for recommendations, I asked for a return policy. That's all. Why couldn't this person just answer the question Instead of giving me a condescending look? I've been going to GNC for many years for my supplements. The folks at this location have always been helpful, but they don't throw in the free samples nearly as much as other stores I've been to. I get an earfull too from the staff that works here 'bout their garbage employer. Internal problems and such. I don't care. I just wanna buy vitamins. The Gold Card is a total and complete waste of money. Don't buy one. I had one for a year and never once used it as the items I was purchasing (vitamins, minerals, protein powder, pre-workout mix, etc.) were always on sale so the card was obsolete. read more

Contrary to what the person below wrote, my Gold Card saves me a boatload of money each time I come in. It just depends on the frequency of your visits. If you are into working out and are serious enough to invest in quality products, GNC has what you need. If not, then go get your whey protein at Wal-Mart and call it a day. Believe it or not, the money you spend on your supplements does actually matter in terms of absorption in your body and the quality of ingredients. Staff is always helpful and has pointed me in the right direction if I need help, and they all are incredibly fit and well-educated on fitness and nutrition in general. read more

Until Allen came to manage this place I would have given it a one star are the most... I literally avoided it like the plague. The workers were unpleasant, answered the phones while you were there asking questions as if the person on the phone was there for the product. He helps the costumers that are there first and the phone second and that's the way it should be at all times. He is very pleasant, cares about the customers more than I can explain. I appreciate him being there and I will be shopping there much more often simply because he is there! Ask for Allen, he gives a whole new meaning to customer service and is the most knowledgeable person on fitness that I have ever seen in there. Okay, get ready because I GOT SOME THINGS TO SAY ABOUT THIS STORE AND IT'S EMPLOYEES. One in particular. To start off, I've been going to this store for like the last 3 years. In the last, eh, year and a half maybe, they've totally improved the store all around, from the layout of the products on the floor to the kindness and helpfulness of the employees. Which leads me to Alan. Alan is the store manager and this dude is a walking encyclopedia of fitness and nutrition information, he also makes DAMN sure you get the absolute best bang for your buck. You can come into the store with any question about anything from physiology to specific chemical compounds in the products on the shelves, and he will give you a detailed explanation of its purpose and effects on the body, a comparison to other products to find out which best suits your needs, and finally, the absolute best deal that can be given. I have no reason to go anywhere else with my nutritional/supplement/fitness needs as long as Alan still works in that store. read more
