So you can get quite a lot accomplished in this one little plaza. Other than that bit of bad advice, the employees of this store are all wonderful; extremely knowledgeable about the things they carry and will readily admit if they don't know something or aren't 100% sure. Which is reassuring. In short, if you're not a beautician and have hair color questions, it's probably best to call ahead and make sure the color specialist is in. She's awesome and knows what she's doing. She'll also help you with correcting botched color pretty effectively, so long as you take her advice.
