It's nice to see a real health food store with so many quality items that you can't find elsewhere. The owner Waqar is a very kind, helpful, honest man and is passionate about the health industry. At the health fair a fabulous company called Hello Wellness was there sampling sea moss. I purchased a jar and I will purchase my next jar directly from Green Acres. It's a nice clean store and there is plenty of parking.

Destiny showed me various cookie alternatives as well. I didn't buy any cookies; but I appreciated her effort. I did notice a white-haired staff member oddly staring at me as I left the cookie aisle with a handful of previously purchased items (& a receipt in 1 hand). It likely took her a second to remember NJ's newly instated bag ban, lol.

Though not exclusive to this Aldi location, this supply/demand problem is particularly aggravating in the early evening, when many customers do their after-work grocery shopping. There are three checkout lanes, but usually only one cash register is staffed. A second checkout lane will open up only when customers in line are spilling out into the aisles. The single-occupancy restrooms behind the bottled water pallets are surprisingly clean, probably because people forget that they're there.

I was going to the doctor next door and saw it. It is actually the old one relocated! This place is large, bright and cheery. There is so much stock and always enough cashiers. I tend to go on Sundays and it is slightly crowded. But there is always someone to direct the patrons on line to the next available cashier. The line is long but moves swiftly. Not only is the food selection great, check out the household items. I love making this part of my Sunday routine.

I came to ALDI today with my two children to buy groceries, and unfortunately, I had an extremely…read moreunpleasant experience with one of the employees. The store was not busy at all, yet the lady employee spoke to me in a very rude and commanding tone, telling me to "move up." I did exactly what she asked. Then, after I placed my groceries on the conveyor belt, she told me to manually move the items forward. However, the customer in front of me had not even finished checking out and was still in the way, so there was simply nowhere for me to move them. At that point, I already felt like I was being singled out. What happened next was even more upsetting. She ordered me, again in a very commanding tone, to turn my shopping cart toward her(. The shopping cart was only about a palm's width away.)I followed her instructions, but then she complained that the cart was not close enough and forcefully pushed my shopping cart. My child was sitting in the cart and was startled by the sudden, forceful movement and almost started crying. I was understandably very upset and told her, "If you need me to do something differently, I will cooperate, but there is absolutely no reason to behave in a way that scares my child." We ended up having an argument, and as I walked away, the only thing I said was, "God bless her." I understand that working in retail can be stressful, but employees should not take their emotions out on customers. The way I was treated today was rude, unprofessional, and completely unnecessary. I genuinely feel that the low rating of this location is not without reason. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses the way customers are being treated. Customers come to the store to shop--not to be ordered around, humiliated, or treated as a target for someone's frustration.
