Wow normally I steer clear of supplements, protein powders, and meal replacement anything as I have been making my own out of organic products, but when your son is on a quest for whey protein and pre- workout anything well I trudged along with him and boy are those poor GNC employees in for a time of their life. My boy looks through every single ingredient on that label and ask questions on this and that, which can make it a long, long, full of explanations supplement shopping experience. But yes my son has been careful of what he puts in his body. So after many questions he finally settles on his purchase. We went into GNC around 1 PM and spent some time looking for the right supplements. The employee kept following us around and repeatedly asking if we needed help. We politely declined because we prefer to look on our own and ask for help if we can't find something. We eventually found everything we needed, went to the register, and PAID for our items. After we had already paid, the same employee told us he needed to check our bag because they had been having problems with people stealing. I found this extremely uncomfortable, embarrassing, and completely unnecessary. We did absolutely nothing suspicious. We were simply customers taking our time comparing supplements and deciding what we wanted to purchase. Being followed around the store was uncomfortable enough, but then being asked to have our bag checked after paying made it feel like we had been watched and suspected of stealing the entire time. I understand that businesses deal with theft, but that does not justify making paying customers feel like criminals. If there is a store policy requiring bags to be checked, it should be applied consistently to customers--not brought up after someone has been followed around the store. We came in, looked around, found what we needed, and paid for everything. Instead of leaving satisfied with our purchase, we left feeling singled out, embarrassed, and unwelcome. Don't order online! They charge you a secret delivery fee on top of what you're paying and they don't even show you how much it is until after you pay and receive your email confirmation. It's not even factored into the total cost during checkout either! I ordered 3 items and I only received one. My GNC account shows that I only ordered 1 item but my card was charged for the 3 items. I was also sent an email confirmation and receipt for the 3 items, but when I look up my order number it shows that I ordered 1. Wtf is that all about? read more

I came here specifically for some of their GNC Total Lean meal replacement shakes since I'm all out of Herbalife and can't find a distributor grr.. Well it's good but not great! And I get hungry faster than Herbalife. I purchased Orange Cream which is yummy! Kind of like a 1/2 and 1/2 orange bar! And Rich Chocolate which is super sweet and tastes best with water instead of milk. Anywho the employee who helped me out was super nice!! He was an older gentleman but I didn't get his name. Very helpful and informative with recommendations etc. he convinced me to sign up to be a "gold member" which cost $15 but it soooo pays off as it deducts at least $5 from any product and is good for a year! Not bad! The nice man even gave me some samples of a pre-workout drink called C4 which basically makes you feel like a crackhead and swear you have little aunts crawling on your arms lol.. Really nice store I mean every thing is more than all right except for the young guy helping customers,I just came in looking for some vitamin supplements and protein and he approached me asking if I needed help I said yes I need nugenix testosterone and he just finger point the shelf without saying nothing and I stared looking at the various brands and he was just standing behind me after probably 30 seconds he said ok it's been a long day you need help?I couldn't believe how rude and unprofessional this guy was no respect whatsoever I truly a great store like this need personnel with proper training other wise no matter how much I like this store I'll just walk out with empty hands feeling upset.03/10/2018 6:00 pm. read more

I've tried coming to this store to price match items but they always find an excuse as to why they cannot price match anything , but I let that go and decided to give this store another shot today by trying to return a Ghost Peanut butter cereal milk protein for just the regular cereal milk flavor because i was not satisfied with the peanut butter cereal milk but they found a way to get me to think that I couldn't return it without a fee because I had gotten a deal that was buy 2 red tag items and get one free. the guy told me I had to go to the original GNC that I got the products from & that they would help me without the fee, so I went to the original GNC in Downey and as soon as i showed them the receipt they asked me what store did you try to return this too so i responded the Pico Rivera store and they immediately told me thats a franchise so they never want to help out with returns because they lose money and i immediately got upset because they're a fucking GNC that should fucking stick to the things GNC promotes or else set up their own freaking store with their own name. I'm never coming to this store again. Its a fucking waste of time. Everyone should just make the drive to the GNC in Downey thats in the Stonewood Center because they get the job done ! read more
