I come into Sprouts about 2-3 times a week and order the exact same sandwich each time, but the…read moreexperience is never consistent--and it's becoming really frustrating. First, the customer service is lacking. Most of the time, associates don't acknowledge me at all when I walk up. I usually end up standing there for about five minutes before anyone even says anything, and then it takes additional time for them to get ready to make the sandwich. It just doesn't feel welcoming. The process itself is also all over the place. Sometimes associates ask what I'd like, other times I have to jump in and tell them. I recently found out sandwiches can be toasted--no one had ever mentioned that before. Some associates spread condiments, others don't. There's no standard, which makes the experience confusing every time I visit. Another issue is that no one wears a name badge, so there's no way to recognize or thank someone who does a good job--or even know who helped you. Pricing is probably the most frustrating part. The sign clearly says there's a $5.99 meal deal that includes chips and a drink, and that the sandwich alone is $4.99. However, every time I order, I'm either charged $5.99 just for the sandwich or $4.99 plus extra for chips and a drink. It never rings up the same way twice, and no one explains why. It feels misleading and confusing. Overall, the experience feels disorganized. Between the lack of acknowledgment, inconsistent preparation, missing name tags, and unclear pricing, it just doesn't feel like a welcoming or well-managed environment. I'd really like to keep coming here regularly, but something needs to change.

While here, my wife and I both ordered some smoothies. I can't recall the ones we had but they were memorable because we have always said, "next time back in Naples, we are returning here". A year later, we kept to our word and returned.... still delicious. Now it's been quite a few years since our last visit; even the location of the smoothie shop/stand was relocated but I had no worries the smoothies would still be great. No one was in line but we also noticed no one at the counter taking orders or making smoothies... no big deal, we waited for a moment. Now others are in line behind us and my wife was going to walk over to the main store and ask if anyone is available but then a girl appeared from a door to a back area.... With about 8 other people behind us at this point she didn't even acknowledge the line... the lady behind us yelled if anyone was able to take an order. She gestured one moment with her hands but was cutting fruit. Another girl came into the smoothie shop and also did not acknowledge the line.... With 8 other people in line, the lady behind us gave up and walked away. We were going to yell over to the girls (both cutting and/or prepping something else) but we were just annoyed at this point and figured it's just not worth it. Maybe an off day but poor service can sure ruin an experience....

That said, it's nice to shop a store where you know the foods are healthy and everything is done for consumer satisfaction, as well as knowing the ingredients are ethically sourced with sustainability for the environment. This does take grocery shopping to another level. This store is large, clean and full of so many different items, it's fun checking out the products. As far as pricing, on a recent trip, I was surprised to see many items are priced the same or lower than what I'm buying at other stores. The employees are helpful and I appreciate their carts! They are easier to manage than the clunky ones that most stores have. Parking is generous and it's nice being able to find a spot fairly quickly and getting on with your day. I also wish there were more protein options for those that avoid soy or dairy. I know most people aim for the minimal sugars, carbs and calories, but I wish there were non gmo/organic options.
