As I…read morewalked in I was greeted by the handsome man with the gorgeous blue eyes.... yes that is correct, I said it. I was looking for a protein powder and a pre-workout supplement just to give me a little more edge and energy to my workouts. After all I am going to my 24hr fitness and my IMT crossfit, therefore I need some nutritional help. The store clerk was friendly and helpful. He answered all my questions as silly as they were such as "I want a protein powder that doesn't taste like a cardboard".... and that is exactly what I got. The store is small but it is filled with products and the store clerk definitely knew what he was talking about. As I was there another customer came in and bought a bunch of stuff such as protein bars, powder and drinks. The parking is easy and it is right next to sports authority, you can't miss it. To me customer service is #1 priority, I would rather drive farther away to get better service. And I believe that this place just hit my number 1 spot for my protein powders. :-) And yes, he was right, the protein powder did not taste like a cardboard!!

I was excited to shop at Publix while visiting Florida, but unfortunately my experience was pretty…read moredisappointing. One of the first things I noticed was that the prices were noticeably higher than what I'm used to paying in Texas, which was a bit expected. We asked a couple of employees where to find certain items, and they came across as rude and unwelcoming. After those interactions, I honestly didn't feel comfortable asking anyone else for help. The one bright spot was the deli. The gentleman helping me was incredibly friendly and patient. I was undecided about what sandwich to order, and he recommended the breaded chicken sandwich, helped me choose the cheese, toppings, and bread, and his recommendation was excellent. It ended up being one of the best grocery store sandwiches I've had, and I really appreciated his outstanding customer service. Unfortunately, the positive deli experience was overshadowed at checkout. The cashier and the employee bagging our groceries were rude, and they began speaking negatively about us in Spanish, apparently assuming we wouldn't understand. We do speak Spanish, so we understood the conversation, which made the experience even more uncomfortable and disrespectful. While I truly appreciated the excellent service from the deli employee, the overall customer service throughout the store left a lot to be desired. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this location.
