It's great to come to a health food store that also sells incense , pistachio products, a large variety of dairy-free cheese and so much more! I thought it was cool that they sold bison meat here. I want to make sure that I wasn't at a Jungle Jim's because that's hard to find. The store is a bit pricey but I do believe this has the best selection of food and household goods compare to most health food stores probably within a 50 Mile radius. The staff was very friendly too! I want to give a shout out to a staff member that I saw escorting a elderly man with a cart full of groceries and helping him load his car too! This place is convenient and close to home for picking up health supplements like flax oil, protein powders and kombucha. I have a member card and receive coupons in the mail so if I plan according it's not too bad on the pocketbook. Last time I was in the cashier gave me suggestions on some of the different types of kombucha that she likes for my next round.

But the big downfall here was lack of customer service. Normally at GNC, I receive a friendly greeting and am asked if I need any help. It was a bit busy, a beautiful Saturday afternoon, but we didn't have trouble getting a table. Everything on the menu sounded good but in the end we split an order of the grilled calamari to start and I went with the elicoidali boscaiola for my entree. The calamari was very good. Quite heavy on the citrus but I really liked the grilled zucchini and marinated beans that came with. I actually wish we had a little more of the zucchini though. The elicoidali boscaiola was delicious though quite rich. It's house-made elicoidali pasta in a white wine cream sauce with pancetta, shallots, garlic, mixed mushrooms, peas, chicken, and pamigiano. The portion was also huge, especially for lunch, and came out piping hot. I had more than enough for leftovers to take home (which reheated pretty good, even though cream sauces don't always live up to a second meal, I definitely had some separation with the butter but it still tasted great). At $27 for the entree it was pricey for lunch but considering I got two hearty meals out of it I won't complain!
