No one announces this is a franchise, so they don't have to adhere to corporate sales. I went to the shop on Franklin Wednesday morning at 10:27 and saw this sign. "Back in 10 minutes." I waited over 20, and no one returned. I returned later, walked to see a man coming from the back room. He looked and spoke as if moving, talking and assisting me were the last things on earth he wanted to do. I asked about the BOGO sales that were on the website. All I got was a resounding "Nope". I asked for clarification and he responded with "The store's a franchise and they don't have to do the sales. What can I tellya?"
I asked if I could order on line and have it delivered to the store so I could still get the sale. He told me I could try. He then turned around and went back to the back room.
I ordered online that evening and when the site confirmed, I was given information to pick up a day later. I immediately got another email saying the order was canceled by the receiving store. I contacted the customer service for GNC and they said the store has the right to terminate the order. How this store stays in business is beyond me. But the "salesman" is clearly not in the right line of work. I ordered from 6AM Run. Got a better sale and a coupon for my next order. I don't expect the store employee to be an expert but the rudeness, sarcasm, and even body language that I was bothering him were obvious. read more
