GNC is what it is - a store that specializes in all things health and nutrition. And while you can find things for health and nutrition, they do tend to be heavy on the weight lifter, gym goer, weight loss enthusiasts etc.. Proteins, CLAs, thermogenics, stuff to gain weight, stuff to gain muscle, stuff to lose weight, stuff to define, stuff to cut water weight, shakes, pills, powders, you name it, they have it. They have a membership program where you get exclusive deals and even reduced prices. Kinda like a discount for whatever you buy, as long as you're a member, however, the membership does cost an annual fee. But, if you're always hitting the gym, or just always hitting GNC for health and nutrition supplements, the membership is kinda worth it. Because anything labeled "health", is gonna cost an arm and a leg. The only things free in this world, is being fat. You can get that for $0.99 at any fast food place. But if you wanna cut that fat, it's hard work at the gym, and literally $100s in supplements to assist you in sculpting that beautiful dad-bod. read more

GNC in Fort Bliss's Freedom Crossing is okay. They have attentive customer service and offer reliable products; vitamins, protein, amino acids, etc. For $39.99, you can buy the annual membership that supposedly gives you monthly discounts, and I guess this is new because, throughout the years, I have had their membership but have not truly experienced their discount. Every time I attempted to use the discount, there was some issue. I enjoy that most base's throughout the US have a GNC; I have been using their products for 12 years, and it gives me peace of mind to know that I can go there to find the products I need, the reliable products I have been using throughout the years. I love their strawberry/kiwi energy and amino acids; It is my favorite by far. read more

Outside of watching my friends chug disgusting looking protein shakes, I'm not very familiar with the supplemental world, but I was more than happy to tag along on a trip to GNC for my friend Chris. As soon as we stepped foot inside the store a worker said "hello" and offered us help. We decided to look around first and then came back around to her a few minutes later. Although she didn't really look like the protein shake guzzling, fish oil pill poppin' type, she said she was currently using a GNC pack that just happened to be on sale and just so happened to be exactly, EXACTLY, what we were looking for. I spy something with my little eyes something that sounds exactly like a sales pitch. Which it's okay to make a sales pitch when it does fit the consumers needs and all, but she was pushing these pills harder than the guy outside of your friendly, neighborhood club. We'll take the damn things, lady...just chill. She was friendly and seemed to be knowledgeable enough of the products in the store, but it did come off as a little insincere. That incident aside, they do seem to have a pretty good selection of herb pills, protein pills, fish oil pills, pill pills...oh, and water, they have GNC water. read more
