Visited June 18 2026. See my receipt…read more When in Chico I always try to stop here. Fresh fruits and vegetables! I specifically came in to get Picanha meat. It's a cut of meat from Brazil. It has a thick fat cap that my boyfriend likes. IT IS DIFFICULT TO FIND! If you get their grass fed one it will run about 17 bucks. If you go for the regular one it will only cost about 6.50. I love this place! Sushi...coffee shop..made to order pizzas..hot breakfast station..deli..nice wines..etc. The employees are always super nice! Best of all is that they have outside seating for pets and will allow well behaved small dogs inside while you are shopping! Ps. My boyfriend had me go back in and get 2 more grass fed picanha steaks for the freezer! He is Argentinian !

The one thing I discovered I do not like is their stuffing. I didn't want to make stuffing this year for the holiday so I purchased the premade stuffing from the hot bar. Unfortunately, it was the most disgusting, bland, beyond tasteless mushy air (lol yes, REALLY) food I have ever tasted. That's all I did was taste it, and threw it straight in the trash. What a waste of money, and it wasn't cheap! I could've bought three boxes of stuffing for the price I paid for this one portion. I guess that's what I get for being lazy. Next year, I'll definitely make the stuffing on my own. With that being said, that might be the only downside to the store. Now you know, don't buy the stuffing, it's nasty. Lucky for them, that's the only nasty thing in the store, everything else is absolutely amazing. If you're finicky about everything you put into and onto your body, this is a great place to go shopping, you're sure to find everything you need. 4 stars!

I've paid way more for the exact same product for the exact same company. I've used Nature's Sunshine Products before and as of today I will start to take them once again. I'm happy that we have a store like this in Chico. They have a new machine I never seen or heard of. It's called the Beamer. I made an appointment for a free session. The brochure she gave me on this product is really interesting I'm looking forward to my free session. She said I can bring a friend as well for free session.

I've been a Reviewer for a long time, and it takes a lot to truly blow me away, but my first trip…read moreto the Chico Farmers Market yesterday did exactly that. If you care about regenerative agriculture and nutrient density, this is the gold standard for Northern California. The absolute standout for me was MyHarvestValley.com . I'm a huge advocate for soil health, and their regenerative walnuts are a masterclass in what happens when you treat the land right. You can actually taste the difference, it's not just a snack; it's high-quality fuel. I ended up spending quite a bit of time there just appreciating the transparency of their process. Beyond the walnuts, the entire market is a treasure trove: The Meat & Produce: I was struck by the selection of properly raised meats and organic produce. Finding proteins raised with this much integrity is rare, and the variety of healthy eating choices made it easy to load up for the week. The Nursery Finds: I didn't expect to be scouted for my garden, but I saw some of the prettiest Japanese maple starts I've ever laid eyes on. The health and structure of those starts were stunning. The Vibe: It's rare to find a market that balances such a wide variety of specialty goods while maintaining that authentic, community-focused energy. This isn't just a place to shop; it's where you go to support the people doing the hard work of regenerative farming. I'm officially a regular.

I'm always happy to add an independent Business to Yelp. Doering's Mandarins is not a new…read morebusiness-It is a family run farm with a long history.(since 1964). Please visit their website to read the history and learn how Satsuma mandarins differ from Cuties or Halos. Northern Californians have known about Satsuma mandarins much longer than the rest of the world. Satsumas are the very best of the seedless tangarines. Their skins are so easy to peel they almost fall off. Each mandarin section is a perfect bite size treat. They can also be juiced or made into jam. At Doering's you drive through the orchard to get to the shop. Your GPS will help you. I buy from Doering's because I know the mandarins are farm fresh and their service is fantastic. Please see my photos, this is a hands on, family run business. This year they boxed up twenty pounds of mandarins which I took back to So Cal on the airplane as checked baggage. The mandarins arrived in perfect condition. My only regret is that I should have bought 40 pounds. They make perfect gifts. Satsumas do have a fairly short season so call before you go.
