The store didn't comply with my order which I made online and they insisted that I cancel it and buy the same item in store with regular price. [ I bought bulk 1340 protein on a deal on GNC website and placed a pick in store to get additional discount] Initially they told me that they were out of stock and I could see the items in rack . I pointed it out and then the employee made some call and told me that they could not do it . Upon asking that it's the same company this store took franchise of , they told me that they would not adhere to all the orders that comes to their store and it's up to them to decide if they accept it or not. This is very Strange and weird that this GNC store do not honor the order made on their website. I would not be coming to this store. read more

My girlfriend told me that she went here and was basically harassed and and even touched by an employee name Mohammed,I cannot believe the things I heard that was told too me but she was genuinely uncomfortable and even told me that the old guy Mohammed joked about kidnapping and even picked her up without any context.also mentioned about jobs that he can offer her and basically offering.lastly he gave my girlfriend free stuff and lectured her too give him her number.this is absolutely disgusting and this man should be fired or punished.just know that I'm not gonna let this go until something actually happens or action is taken.if there is any way too prove it it was around 7 to 8 o'clock June 6th Monday so hopefully there can be video footage or something.do not recommend and please realize your uncomfortable actions as you did not even know the age of my girlfriend. read more

The worst gnc by far, very selfish. Wanted to exchange a preworkout for the same preworkout but just different flavor. This store was the only one that had stock of the flavor that I wanted. But they said due to COVID they couldn't accept returns or exchanges. Liessss. All other stores said they accept any return, even on the receipt it says I can return at any store!!? Instead the clerk(on the phone) said to return at another store then come buy. Clearly they just want the money and they're using COVID as an excuse. Sad very sad. Just go to the one on Stacy or any other one honestly if u ask me. Fyi the preworkout is unopened/untouched. read more

I normally go in for what I need considering that most workers that work in nutritional stores can sometimes give mixed recommendations, but these two individuals really know there stuff. This place has horrible customer service. I purchased a pre-workout supplement and found a much lower price a few days later on amazon for the same product. I took the product back to GNC 4 days after purchase. I lost my receipt and the clerk remembered me but said its policy they do not take returns without a receipt for proof of purchase. I understood that. I asked... How about if I bring a copy of the transaction from my bank that shows it was purchased at this location. He said yes! I did that and came back 2 days later. There was another clerk and he said I needed a receipt for proof of purchase to show it was this GNC. I showed him my documentation. He called his boss and told me "Sorry it's policy without a receipt for proof of purchase I cannot refund you or give you store credit ". I showed him my proof indicating the store and the dollar amount of the item I had purchased. He just said sorry I can't help you. I had just about given up, and was passing by another GNC located off McDermitt and Custar Rd. I took the product in. The clerk there was very eager to help, he called his supervisor and was instructed to get a transaction number from the original store which would prove my purchase. So I went back to the original store and saw the same clerk. He was not very eager to help. He did find my transaction. So that was proof I purchased this item at his location. I asked, since you have proof now by looking up the exact transaction can you do a refund or in-store credit. He said again sorry without the receipt I cannot refund you. Or give you store credit. I took the information back to GNC at McDermitt and Custer and within a couple minutes I had my full refund back. Good customer service is essential for customer satisfaction. Although the GNC at McDermitt and Custard is further away, they will have my business from now on. read more

Pulled up to go into GNC at 2pm on a Wed afternoon and there was a guy leaving the store locking the door. Sign still says "open". I asked him "are you closed?", and he said No, but that someone would be there in 10-15 minutes to help me and left casually. Not in a hurry himself, and certainly not in a hurry to help me as a customer. Another reason Amazon gets the business! Super inconvenient and unhelpful. read more

First time ever inside this GNC store (have been to one other inside Collin Creek Mall, wasn't impressed). I was off from work and wanted to visit because I wanted to pick up a organic shampoo I read about online and was sold at this store (among several other stores). Right when I walked in the manager/owner of the store approached me with a ice cold bottle of water and welcomed me in. I was very impressed with the generosity of the manager. I found the specific item I was looking for and the owner was telling me about the products and if I needed anything else. Just the overall customer service at this particular store is above par. I was super impressed and would definitely go back to this store in a heart beat. The owner's son also happens to work at this store and he was helping other customers with all the questions/comments that I could overhear them discussing. I guess like father like son. I'm raving but I think it's well deserved: I am very impressed with the level of knowledge, professionalism, and care that one employee in particular presents in this store. Prior to my visit last week I primarily bought my vitamins at a competing company. I just ran into this location because I was close. When I walked in the Sales Specialist (SS) at GNC was in a detailed conversation with another customer, you would have assumed they were related by the content if not for the difference aesthetically. When the first customer left he called the SS by his first name and vice versa like they had known each other for years if not for the customers final comment, "It was SO nice to meet you." The SS, though in a deep conversation, never alienated the other customers which takes some retail finesse and tact. I was introduced to the SS with the care and consideration I have not seen in the American Retail industries in quiet some time. I explained to him my ailment, which was previously mistreated/diagnosed by my health care team for months. Knowing I was in desperation for relief, he could have sold me the entire store- Seriously. His knowledge of alternative medicines is astounding, he even had laminated cited clippings of his information as sources. He recommended one simple herb and said, "this herb is widely used in other countries and is known to help your condition, my mom used it on me when I was a child." He also recommended outside medical resources he personally knows. As soon as I was walking out the door two more customers walked in and were addressed by their first names. Awesome. Needless to say, the herbs he recommended work fabulously; within two days I saw a vast improvement in my condition. I called the SS a couple days after my visit to tell him thank you for his advice and he was so compassionately inquisitive as to how I was feeling. There are very few people who take the time to look at people as people and not just a dollar sign. I'm not saying that this person can qualify as your primary care provider in regards to your health by any means; I had, unfortunately, exhausted all of my resources by the time I arrived at this store. If you are just popping in to grab some multi-vitamins, trying to beef up, tone down, or have an specific condition I would strongly suggest going to this GNC. I guarantee you will acquire something beneficial on your visit. read more
