In fact, I ran a silk scarf across the floors throughout my house with not a single snag - and this was BEFORE staining and finishing. When I was having difficulty deciding between two stains, Chris applied them in multiple rooms and encouraged me to view them at different times of the day. After taking the time to listen to my thoughts the next day, he suggested two coats of stain to obtain the depth I was looking for (something other contractors will not do).
