Gabby, the owner, greeted me as I ascended the stairs to the front desk. I immediately stepped into in a calming, serene space filled with an amazing aroma that enveloped me. I had no doubt this was probably going to be the best facial I ever had. I was led into the treatment room to begin my 90 minute facial of 'Self Love'. Gabby is amazing! Each and every step was fluid, like a symphony, each having its own solo, yet working together to create amazing results. And Gabby went above and beyond! I had walked in with a knee injury, and she had prepared a salve to massage my knee after my facial concluded. WOW, just wow! Like I said, 10 if I could! And yes, BEST facial I'd ever had!

The five-star rating is specifically for Mallory. I have been coming here for years and always see…read moreMallory. She does a great job every time and is so friendly and personable. I have tried several other places for waxing (including the Benefit in Westport) and Mallory is the only one who I've kept coming back to. I have social anxiety and I usually hate having any beauty services done (haircuts, manicures, etc) but I actually look forward to seeing Mallory. The manager (I assume that's who she is because she presents as having authority) is always very rude. I have never had a positive interaction with her. During your birthday week you can receive a free brow wax, so I took advantage of that and also got a brow tint (knowing I would have to pay for the extra service). The manager told me several times that only the brow wax was covered and I have to pay for the tint and tip on the whole amount. I already knew all of that and did not appreciate her treating me like that, she was practically berating me. She has such a negative attitude and is so unpleasant to be around. I continue to put up with her though just for Mallory. The atmosphere in the boutique is also uncomfortable sometimes. I only come there for waxing services, although they do carry the full line of Benefit products. I do love Benefit but it is cheaper for me to buy their products at other stores where I can earn rewards or use coupons. But whenever you are there, especially if you are waiting for your appointment, employees will follow you around and push products on you trying to make a sale. After you get waxed they will ask if you want some aloe and I always say no (even though I would like some) because I don't want them to pitch any products. I understand they must have sales goals to meet but it is very off putting. Overall, it is worth it to come here for Mallory.

So I called in Dec and got an appointment for mid Jan. I had to reschedule the Jan appointment and got another one for mid Feb. Not sure if it was because I had a groupon. Anyways the place is easy to find if you are using google maps. Plenty of parking available. When I walked in there was no one at the reception since Carine was with another client in the room. The place is cozy and little later Carine came out. She gave paper work to do and asked to be seated for sometime. My facial was good. Carine did a nice job. She was very quiet and I decided to have a general talk during the facial since we hardly spoke when i checked in. My facial was done in about 45 mins, would have been nice if it was for 60 mins. She did not try up-sell any products or book another appointment which was nice. I would return for another facial.
