Harley, my Shih Tzu, can be a neurotic mess and a grumpy brat, but that doesn't faze Janet. She is so good with him and treats him like one of her own. It doesn't hurt my heart when I hand him off to her. Lastly, and more importantly, not only is her professionalism on point, but it's her personable and caring character that keeps us happy clients.

I sent her some information in July and then again when I saw her I sent more information via text message as requested this month in August. All together over the course of two months probably 4-5 text messages and not one single response and yes I made sure I had the right number from the picture on her mobile van. This is no way to run business and if she didn't want the business of our dogs I can understand that but minimum send a reply letting us know that she is busy or not taking on new clients or whatever the reason. Extremely unprofessional in my opinion!!! thumbs down

Adding 5 more stars…read more Taking two doodles with significant matting is no small task, but Zach absolute nailed it! Because of some recent surgery recovery at home, my two doodles had to miss their regular grooming schedule and were looking pretty rough. I was so worried about how their coats would handle the dematting process, but Zach was incredible. He approached them with such a kind, gentle, and reassuring energy that immediately put my mind at ease. You can genuinely tell how much he loves animals and cares about their well-being; he treated our pups with so much patience and compassion while working through a really tough coat situation. Zach's skill and attention to detail are top-notch. He gave them an amazing, fresh fade that completely transformed them, and we couldn't be happier with how handsome they look. On top of his incredible talent and warm demeanor, I loved the thoughtful report card he provided at the end--it was such a sweet touch to get a personalized rundown of how they did. Finding a groomer who combines this level of professional expertise with genuine heart is so rare. We are beyond grateful to Zach for taking such wonderful care of our doodz, and we will definitely be booking with him again and recommending Pups Fresh Fade to everyone we know!

I have another dog that is very shy and timid. I talked to the staff a bit about how best to handle a bath and grooming for her. They made me feel like they'd take really good care of her. They said they would start with a bath and go slow with the blower and see how she does. They assured me they'd stop at any point if she got too anxious with the process. She did well and I picked her up a few hours later with her smelling great with a nice trim as well. She looked amazing. I am really happy with the staff at Cali Petz. Everyone is very kind and willing to talk about any concerns I had throughout the process. I will definitely be going back for dog grooming. It's nice when you find a spot near your home that does a great job. Thanks Cali Pet Goodz!

It started very well in the beginning early last year. But, today I picked up my dog and she was shaved again! They had her in there for 3hours! Just to shave all her fur! :( I asked for a trim half an inch on the body (I don't want her shaved, keep her fluffy) shave the tummy, clean private parts, teeth cleaning and bath. I had her groomed to be ready for a photo and now she's shaven. I'm so upset! This is the second time they did this to us. And, I can't be understanding anymore. Last time was last November 2025. So she's, ready for the holiday festivities and photos. But, she was shaved! I had to have her wear sweaters all winter because she was getting cold and looked malnourished. And, they offer a free grooming for next time! Why in the world would I bring my dog to them again. No consistency! Both times it was the same person at the drop off. I have nothing good to say to this place anymore.
