If no stars we're an option, please know I'd go for that. As a Senior Design Director at one of the brands Glow carries, I was SHOCKED when they refused to make good on a dress (of a differing brand) they had sold me whose zipper ripped as I put it on for the very first time -- after literally lifting out of the Glow shopping bag. I nearly missed the wedding I was scheduled to attend. Thankfully, I was able to find a replacement. When I returned to store looking for store credit, they flat refused. When I explained to them that they'd be losing a valuable customer, their response? "We'll be fine, thanks." I agree with the previous reviewer who stated "if you don't like people, don't open a store." Needless to say, I've advised the Sales Department head at my company that this shop is a terrible reflection of our brand and that we should no longer affiliate with Glow. She agrees and is taking steps to end the working relationship. Can't imagine that will be too problematic for Glow, in fact, I'm sure "they'll be fine." HORRIBLY HORRIBLY RUN BUSINESS. read more

WOW... I have to write a review to counteract all this negativity! I CANNOT believe these reviews, since I absolutely ADORE this boutique and I'm one of the pickiest people I know. I've shopped here numerous times and my experiences have never been anything less than enjoyable. The staff is SO sweet, down to earth and they always assist me in choosing the right outfits. It's really like I have my own personal shopper when I come here, the owner being especially helpful. I need that second/third/fourth opinion so I don't walk out with something that's not right for me! They carry some of my favorite designers (Shoshanna, Alice & Olivia, Elizabeth and James, Alexander Wang and many, many more!) which makes it so hard for me to choose what to buy! My most recent purchase was an adorable Shoshanna dress that I am completely in love with. As for their return policy, I ALWAYS ask in stores such as Glow because every return policy is different. This is NOT a huge corporation; it's a boutique, which means they most likely have a strict policy for returns. Personally, I have never had a problem with it. It was explained to me that the dresses cannot be returned because women were wearing the dresses, bringing them back (with stains, obvious signs of wear), and demanding refunds. The store was losing money (as someone who works for a small boutique business, I understand). They do take back other items, from what I remember. In regards to having "one size of clothing": The store is small so they display 1-2 sizes of each item so they can fit more styles on the racks. It keeps the store looking un-cluttered and it takes any stress (like shopping is really stressful) out of sifting through sizes. It also ensures that the clothes haven't been manhandled by some crazy bitch, ripping tags out of them to look for sizes. They have an enormous back-stock and always have my size. I honestly think there was one time where they didn't have my size and they offered to order it for me. In conclusion: Y'all bitches is CRAZY. Glow is fantastic. read more

I have not been to Glow in a while (probably about a year and a half) but I absolutely loved everything about it. The second I walked in the women working there sized me up and led me to dresses specific to the occasion I was attending based soley on my size. I am 4'11 but proportional for my size, so it is very difficult for me to find clothing that I don't have to take to a tailor. The first dress she chose for me was the one I bought. It's a shame that staff at department stores don't take size into account when showing the customers merchandise. This was an immediate plus for me. read more

I've had nothing but great experiences shopping here. As someone who HATES pushy or condescending sales people I'm always bracing myself before going into a high end boutique, and the ladies who work here have been nothing short of amazing the few times I've shopped here. Super friendly, laid back atmosphere where you can browse to your heart's content with no one on top of you, with the sales people there if you want input on what you're trying on. I've never felt like I was being "sold" to or being pressured into a purchase. For example if you're trying something on that's on final sale, they will urge you to make sure you're absolutely in love with it before buying. I've always felt great about clothes I've gotten here, because it's the type of place where you can hang out for however long you want to and debate with yourself (out loud if needed) about the pros and cons of buying something. No one's judging. I got two amazing dresses today that I can't wait to wear. read more

Bryan, aren't you dating one of the owners of the store? I believe you have been in the store more than just 2 times in the last year. We appreciate your review, but it seems a bit biased. Unfortunately, I too had a not so welcoming experience at Glow. I felt like the staff was judging me and my friend from the moment we walked in. There is a difference between helping and supporting customers and looking them up and down, making us feel uncomfortable. Unless you are dressed to the nines while shopping, do not expect the staff to truly take the time to help you. It reminded me of the scene from Pretty Woman when she wasn't being helped because of the way she looked. read more

Cute clothes but one of those stores where the minute you walk in the door they are on top of you and won't leave you alone. Made looking through the (few) items that were in the store pretty uncomfortable. Since there's never anyone in the store, I guess they're so happy when someone finally comes in. When I go by the store now, I look to see if anyone's in there, and I just can't face dealing with the overbearing woman in there if it's void of people. They also kind of check you over as if maybe you really can't afford to shop there, which always irritates me as a business professional, when they're retail gals making a pittence. read more

Super unfriendly staff member (owner I think). Not really interested in helping you. I assume she judges you by what you are wearing, in this instance I had gym clothes on but spend a lot of money on my clothes. Whilst I did find items in the store I liked I am just going to order them online. As a comparison, I walked into Lululemon nearby, was greeted by warm friendly smiles, and conversation and ended up spending $400 in there. Different clothing obviously but it helps to be friendly and interested if you own a clothing store. I won't be back. read more

Still a great place. The girls are fantastic! Always able to get the special ones in my life the perfect gift there! The best part is that they keep track of what they buy so its an easy size-up for them! read more

Yes, you did offer to give me a $20 credit for the broken zipper. How is it fair that I only get reimbursed for the zipper your staff broke only if I buy something from you again!? What school of retail says that policy is appropriate? Considering how I was treated, I didn't want to buy anything else. I did in fact get the zipper fixed for $56, not $20. Unfortunately, I think you're also still missing the point on how my sister and I felt we were treated. read more

My daughter and her friend were in glow the day after thanksgiving.I have been a customer since the begining of the stores opening and was surprised to hear the girls talk about the total rudeness of the sales women.I won,t waste my time on the details but you just lost another customer. read more

Wish I could give no stars. Bought a present for my wife there, had a change of heart and returned it literally 10 minutes later. Said they could only give me a store credit, store policy. Now my policy to never shop there again. read more

I have to write that as a professional who works in the luxury industry, I was extremely disappointed with the lack of service and attention I received at Glow. I spent a great deal of money on 3 lovely dresses on my first visit to Glow. I work in NYC and am only in the area on the weekends. So, I called the women at Glow and asked that they keep me posted of any dresses in my size and I would be happy to purchase over the phone or come in on the weekends to see the dresses. It was apparent by their reaction that they didn't feel the need to have my business nor extend the service one would expect from a small high-end boutique. It's a shame, really. Because, the buyer does bring in nice dresses but I would rather shop at Coco-Pari in Deal where the sales staff is much more attentive and will call me if they receive a dress in my size that they think I would like. read more

Walked in yesterday for a last minute dress and shoes for a special night out and AGAIN I came out with being styled to perfection! Also, picked up a few nice sweaters and boots for fall, too! Thanks again glow for styling me! read more

I simply went in the store to browse and was treated like a complete piece of garbage (probably due to my casual clothing). The employees were very condescending and turned me off completely. Everything is ridiculously overpriced, too. I would never give that store another minute of my time. read more

My favorite! I love this store - I just moved to the area from London this past year and was initially so sad to be stuck in an area I thought was just a bit too removed from Manhattan. When a fellow mom recommended I visit Glow a few months back, I was positively elated. I used to shop in Harvey Nichols in London and now Glow is my New Jersey version in the States. The girls are refreshingly nice and helpful. There is an easy selection of fancy cocktail dresses and everyday garb. The store is modern and clean with a bit of a sophisticated edge. I love swinging by to pick up fabulous diddies frequently because there is always new product. Highly recommend shopping here - could not be a more sublime experience. read more

I went shopping at GLOW yesterday late afternoon for the first and last time! I spent 1400.00 on 4 dresses and a pair of shoes and I left there with them all wrapped together with a cheap piece of plastic and a shopping bag so small that it didnt even fit the shoe box! The owner helped me with my purchases and at the time was very nice. When I got home, I tried the dresses on again and I decided that I wasnt thrilled about two out of the four. These two dresses were 344.00 and 380.00 and honestly they looked like something I could get at Macy's...so I decided to return them. The store opened at 10am today and I called at about 10:05 and spoke to the "owner" that was so sweet to me yesterday (of course since I was spending $$) and explained to her that I had changed my mind about two of the dresses and wanted to return them. She then became extremely nasty and said "well you loved them yesterday when you bought them" and "you can come in and look for something else" Meanwhile I was in her store for over and hour yesterday and tried everything on. If I like other things I would have purchased them then! She also said that they have a strict policy about not accepting returns. They will only exchange. And that is every "boutique" stores policy. I shop at boutique and very high end stores all the time, and I have never been treated so rudely in my life. Yes, I understand her policy and yes some boutiques only except exchanges BUT I just bought the dresses yesterday..and she is the owner who can easily make an exception to her ridiculous rule. Instead she was rude and yelled at me. She would rather lose a customer who could possibly bring her store a lot of business. I spend at least 5000 a month on clothing. Im guessing this is why her store is always empty and already has bad reviews all over the internet. In conclusion I will never spend my money there again and I will be sure to tell everyone in Red Bank what terrible customer service they have there. Not to mention the fact that she has a terrible selection of clothing!!! She carries one size of each item.. Dont waste your time or money at this store, go to CoCo Pari in Red Bank. read more
