Y'all this place is great. Instantly I felt comfortable and at home. This place is laid back and the ladies are sweet. Jolie filed my dip nails down today and it was like I was hanging out with one of my girlfriends. She didn't once pressure me into getting a new set although I needed it. Don't know why I decided to give this place another chance but it's still terrible! Less than 30 minutes for a pedicure. Did basically nothing. Didn't even cut the dead skin around my nails. One coat of polish. read more

This place is horrible. Last Friday I came to this nail shop for a gel mani and a basic pedi. When taking off my shoes to get a pedi there was several toe nail clippings on the floor. It was disgusting. The man who did my nails was very unexperienced. My nails where chunky, uneven paint coat and turned from white to ivory after 2 days. One nail even chipped. I came back to see if they would fix them; they did with attitude and speaking a different language the whole time I was there. After 2 days AGAIN, my white nails began to turn pink. Needless to say I was NEVER come back to this shop EVER! read more

Hi, I have no complaints about the work of the nail salon but what I do have a problem with is the horrible customer service I received while waiting for my toes to dry. As I sat under the dryer for about 10 minutes quietly, I was then rudely interrupted twice by the man who did my pedicure. The first time he came to the drying station I thought he was telling me that I "could" leave because my toes were dry. However, when he came back the second time he picked up my purse and my shoes and told me " I can go home". I even tried to put my feet back under the dryer and he told my friend and I to leave. The craziest part about this situation was that he would not let me put my shoes back on or put my feet back under the dryer because he knew my toes were not dry. My friend and I were the only two people in the salon at the time, and it did not close for another hour and 30 minutes so I was very confused as to why we were asked to leave. I have never experienced anything like this, and as a visitor to the area I was very disappointed with this encounter. I would not recommend local customers, visitors, or anyone else to this establishment for this very reason. read more

I just moved home to Murfreesboro and was excited to have a nail salon so close to my house. However, this salon has been one terrible experience after another. I have been in twice for a gel polish change that has taken over two hours because there are never enough staff there- and everyone is rude. Today was the final straw and I will never be back. I had my husband drop me off while he ran an errand, I walked in the door and stood at the counter for 2 minutes before anyone looked up to speak to me. They were very busy and had people waiting so I was prepared to take a seat and wait. Instead, I was never greeted and simply told I needed to come back during a time when they were less busy. I've been getting my nails done for a long time in many different places and cities- none of these salons have ever told me to come back at a time that was more convenient for them, especially when I was never even greeted with a hello. I understand that businesses get busy- it is a part of it- and I understand that. However, a lack of respect for your customers is always ( for me at least ) a key indicator that I should not spend money at an establishment that can't even seem to find time for common manners. read more

I've been going to Avanti for a while because they've been half way decent then they run coupons. I won't be going there anymore though. The last time I went the nail tech carelessly drew blood in two places. I'm lucky I didn't get some weird infection. When they advertised new management my daughter went back just out of convenience. Her nails started chipping after two days. I figure they must be diluting their polish. We called and went over to have it fixed and were treated very rudely and told to wait. We just left and figured lesson learned. read more

The young lady doing my nails kept getting in my cuticles with the dremel several times and I broke a nail with in 4 days. When I went back to get it fixed. Today I walked in with a gift card that was just a few days expired and they told me I was not allowed to use it. So I will now be looking for a new nail salon that values their customers. Horrible scheduling and customer service. Appointments for 4 pedicures all at 1:30, made well in advance. Arrived on time, only three employees there, all doing gel manicures who we found out were walk-ins. Put us in pedicure chairs along with 2 women who had just walked in before us. Sat for an hour waiting, and the two women who just walked in were served before us. We all laughed when another woman walked in and told employee that she was the one who had called for 2:00 and the employee told her sure! Then later walk-ins were told 45 minute wait when it was clearly going to be longer than that. Finally three of us got up and let the first available employee do the pedicure for college girl with us that was going back to school. Only saving grace - they comped the one pedicure they did manage to do. Nice people, but appointments must be honored. They never should have taken that many walk-ins that close to our appointments. This was my first visit to this salon. I had a shellac manicure. Though it was not my first shellac mani, it was my first in a while. When I walked in there was one other person waiting but only three nail technicians working. They kindly told me they had a fourth tech coming in and to have a seat at a booth. I waited about 20 minutes before I was offered a color reel to choose my color from and another 20-30 minutes for someone to offer warm water to soak my nails in. After about a hour total, the fourth tech showed up. Everyone was very nice and made conversation with me that wasn't the typical " what do you do... Blah blah." Even though I waited longer than I usually would, it was easy to be patient with them because they were so nice and it was obvious each person was working their tail off. If the best manicure I ever has was a 10 And the worst a 1, I would give this one a 7. Not my favorite, but may go back because of the sweet staff. read more

I recently started coming to Avanti about 2 months ago. Avanti has a pretty standard nail shop setting, about 10 nail tech stations and 6-7 pedi stations. They offer complimentary drinks (wine, soda, water) and coupons if you receive multiple services. That's about as good as this place gets. I go to them for gel acrylic nails and gel pedicures every 2 weeks. I'm not sure if they are using cheap products but at least once in between my fill ins and full set the my nail breaks splitting down the middle (ouch)! The tips never break which shows that it's not due to me being rough on my hands. I recently got my nails done ($50 for a gel fill in) the very next day the nail broke in the middle and they proceeded to argue me down about it. Every time I come they are very rude and talk to customers in a matter of fact way ... Except for one lady who is very friendly. One time a male nail tech was practicing acrylics on another technician while 2 customers were waiting. I was watching a video on my phone and my nail tech shouted "what are you doing" and informed the other nail techs next to me who assumed I was recording. Upon realization all they could say is "oh". Business has been slower every time and I can see why. Never returning! read more
