First, I have had facials in different parts of the country and overseas. I know what is a true and real facial feels like. This was not it. This is on me for not making time on carefully research this place. The DMK felt like the " esthetician" watched bunch of you tube videos and mimic the steps. There was no facial massage, it was more like throwing the products on your face which literally it happened that way. Lily was lovely and everything but one thing is the personality the other is the execution of work. The place: people go to have a facial or massage in a place that is zen and quiet. It's a space for healing and focus. There's no privacy. The working areas are separated by panels. There are no doors but curtains facing the checkout counter. I could hear the next door client chatting with her esthetician nonstop. For that you go to therapy or simply have that session at home. It was distracting and extremely annoying. The choice of music and volume not okay. It gave me the impression these people wants to make quick money without having proper practice and real experience. I'll keep looking and make the time to check on their certificates online. The ones on the wall look pretty fake. I know this is a brutal review but this impression was fully created by you-- the business. I support women owning businesses but please do it right!

Expectations for any tanning salon is that it's clean, has product, and the wait is not extraordinary long. This tanning salon far surpasses any expectation of a salon. Not only are there ample amounts of beds, bulbs are always bright/maintained, always full of product, and the wait times are minimal or non-existence, but what sets it a part is the customer service. Ryan is an absolutely wonderful human! Recently taking over the operation fall of 2021, Ryan connects with customers and has excellent recommendation on products and which beds to use when! Also, Wendy is such a gem - she is so bubbly and friendly - it feels like 15 minutes spent relaxed and being greeted by your friends! There is no monthly contract you must sign. There are plenty of options with payment (monthly), or by the bed/single use. There's super great lotion options from super affordable to higher end. I drive from NW West Nashville over to Goodlettsville (25 min. journey), even though there are a ton of tanning salons closer in proximity due to the wonderful service. I'd give 10 stars if I could. Do yourself a favor - go in there and say hello to Ryan. You won't be sorry.

I was also told day of that there's a fee for travel outside of the city (I live ten minutes from the main part of the city) although they advertise that they're a mobile tanning all over and they don't mention a fee on their website/sm. I didn't complain and just wanted a tan. The young lady came to my home, she was super friendly, efficient and made me feel very comfortable. She didn't make me feel rushed as she took her time to make sure I was completely and perfectly tanned. I didn't shower until the next morning and I had a beautiful, beautiful bronze glow. We headed to the lake and less than 48 hours after my spray tan, in the water for less than 15 mins my feet were completely white. The tan had come off all on my feet and started to fade all over my body in other places. I was afraid to get in the water after that point. As with every airbrush tan, it gets splotchy as it starts to come off, but I feel like this is the worst splotchiness I've ever had. I looked like I had a disease. Wish my experience was better because the tan really was beautiful for less than two days and the young lady was really sweet.

Terrible Experience - Will Not Return…read more What should have been a quick 10-minute process turned into an hour and a half of frustration on my Saturday. I went to Suntan City to re-start a tanning membership, and the lady who assisted me, Ellie, explained that since I was signing up mid-month (March 22nd), my membership would be prorated this month. She then sent me to Room 6 for my tanning session, but when I walked in, someone was already using the bed. It was awkward and inappropriate, and I felt awful for interrupting her. I returned to the front desk to report the issue, but when I checked my account, I noticed I was charged double the amount. Thankfully, I caught the mistake before it was too late. Ellie had put my card and routing number on someone else's account for an unlimited membership. She had no idea how to fix the issue and took over an hour to attempt a resolution--without offering a single apology. After waiting for so long, Lexi stepped in and managed to contact customer service to sort things out. I asked Lexi if there was any chance of compensation for this mess--specifically, if I could get the rest of the month free--and she called her manager, Emma. Emma's response? One free tanning session. Ridiculous. Meanwhile, other customers were walking in, and Ellie was nowhere to be found, leaving poor Lexi to handle everything on her own. Ellie never apologized for the situation and disappeared for another 20 minutes, leaving both Lexi and me waiting. This was an incredibly frustrating experience, and the lack of professionalism and accountability was shocking. I will not be returning to Suntan City.
