As my wedding is getting super close, I reached out to see the status- with tariffs and shipping from China- the Xerf process was held up. I was generously offered a facial including neck; plus Thermage (value 4k) to make up for the inconvenience. I was very impressed with the empathy shown by Samantha who is handling all these delayed Xerf appointments. My facial with Fran was amazing- she was very easy to talk to ; very kind and informative about my skin. Marci performed my thermage and she was extremely knowledgable and thorough . 5 stars for the services and the compassion of Samantha to be resolution oriented when my timeline was getting compromised. Loss of one star only for the lack of clarity that the Thermage procedure is soooo expensive that it replaced the two xerf sessions that I purchased. The staff informed me over the phone when I called to be able to tip through venmo that the services rendered were practically triple the original product price so no more services are honored and the transaction is considered complete . As a first time client, grace needs to be accounted for on both sides. My first interaction with this place was through IG messages, then texts, then the service then my follow up to clarify what's still available to me which is nothing since Skin Solutions considers my obligation fulfilled. I think this is a business that is doing their best and they genuinely try to have the clients needs at heart. I will also note that my fear was melasma for the extreme heat from Thermage and I am happy to report it was not activated in any way so I consider the treatment a success.

I originally left a positive review because the quality of the lash work was excellent. Both the…read morelash tech & the master lash tech, who are sisters, are very talented & skilled at what they do. I received many compliments on my lashes over the years, which is why I remained a loyal client for so long. I also want to acknowledge that the salon itself is beautiful. The space is clean, well-maintained, & thoughtfully decorated. The atmosphere is relaxing, the blankets are comfortable, & I appreciated the Christian music and R&B that often played during appointments. It was easy to relax & even fall asleep while getting my lashes done. One issue I experienced involved excessive lash fallout shortly after an appointment. When I brought it to their attention, I felt there was an initial attempt to place the blame on me. During that same situation, I was encouraged to book a full set despite having recently received one & was asked to return the following day to complete the service. While the issue was eventually resolved professionally, the experience left me feeling frustrated & undervalued as a client. Over time, I realized that something always felt off in the overall client experience. I'm not expecting friendship from someone providing a service, but with personal services like lashes, waxing, nails, or massages, clients naturally develop a level of comfort & familiarity. Although there were moments where they were kind, I often felt more tolerated than genuinely appreciated despite my continued support of the business. There were also several moments where communication & rescheduling felt unnecessarily difficult. One interaction that stood out was being placed on hold for over 15 minutes. While on hold, I called from another number & the call was answered immediately. The reaction once realizing it was me made the interaction feel uncomfortable. I also invited them to participate in a volunteer empowerment event for young girls because I believed they could be positive role models & demonstrate what entrepreneurship & success in the community can look like. I viewed it as an opportunity to give back & encourage young girls to see successful women who looked like them pursuing their goals & building businesses of their own. While I fully respect everyone's right to value their time & services, a last-minute disagreement regarding compensation ultimately led us to withdraw the invitation. The situation reinforced some of the concerns I already had regarding communication & professionalism. Looking back, I realize I focused heavily on the quality of the work while overlooking how the overall experience made me feel as a client. The lashes were beautiful, & I still believe both women are highly skilled. However, over time I learned that talent alone is not enough for me personally. Professionalism, communication, & making clients feel genuinely welcomed matter just as much as the final result. If your priority is solely the lash work itself, you may have a positive experience. I can only speak honestly about my own experience as a long-term client.

Vera was eagerly waiting for me upon arrival, and she gave me the quick run down of insuring I had no medical history, injuries or the like. I got myself laying face down on the heated massage table (which was lovely on a rainy afternoon) and she quickly got to work. Vera: Okay, I will need to do some cupping. Me: Okay Vera: Okay, now I will do some re-alignment. Me: Okay Vera: Okay, we need to do some stretches Me: Okay Vera: We are going to do some lymphatic drainage. Me: Okay She could have told me she was going to tattoo the Last Supper on my back, and I probably would've said the same thing. She was so in tuned to what my body needed, that I just surrendered. The cupping, which was my very first experience, didn't hurt at all, which was what I was quietly panicking about, but I will say for the day after, and the day after that, my body really felt like it went through the ringer! It's really a whole body detoxifying process that I was very open minded to, would get it again, if I ever allow my back to get this messed up. Overall, I feel I can breathe better, and feel just a bit taller! I was absolutely stunned with the full mobility I had in my left shoulder that I had lost for some time, and my neck hump is much better than it was. Can't wait to go back and see her again!
