We came here for lunch and it wasn't particularly busy - maybe about half full, if that - but still the wait for food was woeful. I noticed that we weren't the only table who were questioning where our meals were, and I could see that there was only one person in the kitchen, so perhaps they were short staffed that day.
We finally questioned where our meals were, and we were told that because one of our group had ordered fish and chips with grilled fish instead of battered, this had held up the meals for the whole cafe! What?! If you can't make something, then say so at the time of the order, don't make us wait 30 minutes for basic food on a weekday lunch.
My meal came out considerably later than the rest of the table, which was strange considering I'd ordered muesli with yoghurt and fresh fruit - something that really shouldn't take much preparation time. The rest of the food was ok, not at all great, and certainly not worth the wait.
