She's helped me with everything from routine skin checks to random skin surprises, and her bedside manner is top-tier. Seriously, if you've ever had to strip down in front of a near stranger, you know it can be awkward - Kimberly makes it feel like no big deal. She gives super practical skin care advice, nails her diagnoses every time, and manages to make dermatology way less intimidating than it should be. Shoutout to the rest of the SkinScience staff too! All the ladies are super friendly, helpful, and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I was looking at all reviews of Living Wellness Medical Center before I went to post this one. I'm…read moretrying to figure out why they are all top-notch reviews and then there's one person with a very negative review. I'm wondering whether it's a negative business or a negative person. After looking at her review, I decided it's clearly a negative person. My experience at Living Wellness Medical Center is so top-notch that I've never experienced this type of service in any other medical establishment. It's common, from experience, that medical offices charge for prescriptions that are not within a time range of an office visit. Was this close to an office visit? I have paid this fee a couple of times myself when I was trying to get a prescription renewed that was quite a ways away from my last visit. Trying to get free work out of a business or person is just not something that I have a great respect for. Having something you are recommended and not having it work is just part of working through any medical protocol. I guess I feel a bit protective of this establishment because I've never encountered one like it in the medical world. Dr. Turner helped me get back to normal from heart failure. I am now 100% better and living life like I always have. I only wish more medical facilities could operate like Living Wellness does. I more than highly recommend them. They are awesome on every level.

About a year ago I decided to get an implantable estrogen HRT pellet from Arcadia Well Woman. I did…read morea hormone panel and they told me my testosterone was low so they recommended I add some testosterone. I agreed, but the testosterone had an adverse affect on my and I spent the next three months irritable, aggressive, and full of uncontrollable anger. It affected my relationships. I almost lost my husband because of my mood shifts and irrational anger. I lost my self esteem, I grew body hair all over and I hated myself. I couldn't sleep, I couldn't think rationally. It was like a monster had taken control of my body and wouldn't let go. I decided I would never make the mistake of adding T to my hormones again. Last month I decided I wanted to try the pellet again, minus the testosterone. I went in for a checkup, and thoroughly explained what had happened last time and that while I wanted an estrogen pellet, I did not want testosterone again. The doctor agreed, she said "That was way too much, we won't do that again." We scheduled the procedure for late May. The procedure took place last thursday, and when it was over I said "I'm glad I won't have to deal with that testosterone anymore." and the doctor responded "What do you mean, we put testosterone in this pellet too." I told them to take the pellet out immediately, that we had had a thorough conversation about this and I made it clear that under no circumstances did I want testosterone. She said she didn't remember the conversation. I told her it's explicitly her job to remember the conversation. She told me there's nothing in the records about it. I told her it's explicitly her job to keep those records. The pellet had already crumbled in my body at this point and she informed me that she was unable to remove it. She gave me supplemental estrogen and prescribed spirolactone, but neither has proven effective in keeping this aggression in check. I am now faced with the prospect of another three months of artificial irritability, anger, and rage, and it is directly the fault of Arcadia Well Woman. It was malpractice, and it was assault. I wish I had the capacity to sue them. I wish I had the grace to let it go. But thanks to their actions, I have neither. Under no circumstances would I ever recommend someone go to this doctor.
