I scheduled a trial with her at her studio in Sunnyvale because I was taking engagement pictures that same day and also wanted to get a feel of how I was going to look for my big day. She didn't encourage inspo makeup pictures because she said every face/skin type is different, but she did ask for hair inspo pictures. Christine was really prompt responding to me when I first reached out to her and quickly worked with me to write up a contract with all the services I needed. My MOH was also concerned about how she'd react to the makeup because of her sensitive skin but Christine didn't hesitate to tack on an extra make up trial for my MOH when I requested it. She mentioned it was the first time anyone had requested a trial for a bridesmaid/MOH, but she and her team member Cherie completed the hair and makeup trial with the same level of professionalism they did for my bridal trial. She was also super responsive to my MOH regarding hair recommendations and tried a few different styles for my MOH at the trial to find a style my MOH would like for the wedding. Christine and Cherie showed up incredibly early at my house to get my bridal party and me for my big day. The communication and booking was very smooth right from the start with TBB. We coordinated my bridal trial with Tham as my stylist and we got that done in their studio located just outside Oakridge Mall. Tham was very kind and professional. She asked me clarifying questions on what I liked about each of the sample photos and she explained to me why some things could be contradicting based on the different photos. After we agreed on a vision, she got straight to work and talked me through the process as she worked. The trial hair/makeup was beautiful and it stayed on all day. On the day of the wedding, Tham got to our hotel room and started on my mom's makeup. My mom does not wear makeup or do anything special with her hair ever so I had notes for Tham before she got started. Throughout the process, Tham adjusted things based on what my mom was comfortable with and it worked out so well in the end. For my own, we tweaked a few things based on what I noticed from the trial and we ended up doing a different updo that I loved even more. I had a long veil that people kept stepping on all day but my bun stayed strong and I didn't ever have to worry about it. I only had to powder my face and touch up my lipstick once throughout the day so I would call that a success. Overall so grateful for Tham and the TBB team for making my mom and I look incredible.

I had surgery a few months ago and my hair had been coming out and I was scared to have anything done, but Rocio was welcoming and kind and helped me feel hopeful again. She's a pro for this What bothered me the most is she didn't mention she had a minimum until after she did my trial. It's not on her website and not in the informational email. In order to meet the minimum, we decided to add my mom and MIL into the schedule but this ended up changing our whole timeline for the morning at the last minute and, I had to wake up way earlier than I planned since she said it would take too long to set up at the Airbnb they were at, but OK. I did a trial with her a week before my wedding and the teasing really damaged my hair, I could barely brush it. My hair looked great during the first look, but it really didn't hold, and even by the ceremony it was falling out. Similarly, my MIL also had curls done and I noticed it didn't hold up either. Lastly, she overslept my trial (which she was very apologetic for). She offered a small discount, but I didn't really feel like it compensated for me taking the day off, spending a whole day driving to San Jose, waiting an hour, driving back, and then rescheduling. She was about 15 minutes late arriving to our venue, but it didn't end up setting our schedule back.
