I have been going here for about a year for my dip manicures and been very happy. Reasonable prices, kind staff. But the last time I went the ownership had changed and it seems that has really changed the flow of the salon. My friend came into town and I recommended that she go there for a pedicure to treat herself while I was tied up at work yesterday. She made an appointment and even arrived 10 mins early for said appointment. She was seated at a pedicure chair and had to wait 30 minutes to be seen. They didn't even turn on the water for her while waiting. Mind you, the salon was not busy at the time. Finally after 30 minutes she is seen by a male employee. He rushed through the pedicure and did not provide the foot scrub as expected. When he finished, he told her to wait and another technician would come and do the massage and painting of her toes. She waited ANOTHER 30 minutes and no one ever showed to do the service. She's looking around at this empty salon and her male technician disappeared into the back and another technician was sitting painting her own nails. She decided to leave at this point and she was still charged. She walked out of this salon with bare toes and disappointment. Of course, once I hear of this I am extremely disappointed that my previously loved salon was treating her so poorly. We returned to the salon and demanded a refund. The supposed owner/manager was giggling and laughing when we went in to complain, which was extremely odd. I asked to speak to someone privately and she insisted that I talk to her in front of the whole salon while she was with another client. This felt very unprofessional and uncomfortable for other salon goers. Because they refunded I have added a star, otherwise this is a 1 star experience. It's clear that appointments are not recognized or honored at this salon. And the staff could care less to perform the services in which you are paying for. read more

I had an appointment for a gel manicure and deluxe pedicure. I felt rushed even though they didn't have any other customers. They did my nails at the same time I was getting a pedicure which was awkward. They did not provide the deluxe pedicure and gave me an express pedicure even though I booked the deluxe. The pedicure was just with plain water, no scents, scrubs or anything. The worst! The gel nails didn't last 7 days. I will never go back there and I would not recommend. read more

This was one of the best nails experiences. I've bounced around the Apex/Cary area to find just the "right" salon and I went with a small group and they were very accommodating...took lots of pride in their work and made sure the customers nail color was just right. They also did the longest leg massage and their attention to detail was on point. I will call this place my 'new spot' and continue to go here read more

This salon is under new management, and definitely needs some work on customer service. I scheduled an appointment with the new owner. When I arrived I was told he wouldn't be in because he needed to get paperwork done, they convinced me to let one of the other employees take care of me. However when she was gathering everything for the pink & white acrylics that I was scheduled to have done she discovered the tools weren't even there. She tried to insist that I should do something else. I pointed out why would the owner schedule an appointment that he had no intention of being there for, and why would a NAIL SALON not have the proper equipment to do what they are there for. You need to get it together or close the doors permanently. You don't even deserve 1 star. I wish Mike and his family (previous owners) all the best but know you will be missed. read more

The entire staff is up to date on the latest trends and nail products. Today my visit included a pedicure and powder dip manicure that I know will last for weeks. I used to go here all the time until one day I came in to get a new set removed as I was just told I couldn't have them for my CNA class. Instead of the lady soaking them she popped off my fake nail along with the top half of my actual nail. As she was removing them I was in tears from pain and asked if there was another way to remove them. Her response was that it would take too long.... And yes, she did charge me for this traumatic experience. I left with half of my nail bed, excruciating pain, and the inability to touch my nails or use my finger tips at all. Because I was terrified and unable to speak because I was crying I wasnt able to speak up for myself. My mom called them as soon as I got home and they tried to justify their behavior. I started going here 3 months ago and thought it was excellent at first. My gel set started chipping after a week and they redid them. When they started chipping 2days later; I decided to go to another nail salon. When the polish was taken off it was revealed that water was getting under the fill and started mildewing!!! I wash my hands a lot and the fill wasn't sealed damaging my nail. Don't go here!!! read more

Nice, clean and relaxing. One week ago, I had my nails dipped for the first time. Very pretty. As of 6 days, at least 3 of my nails are cracked/ chipped. I will have to have my nails done again before returning to work On Monday. I spent $48 without a manicure. Not at all happy. I thought that the nails would last at least two weeks. Inconvenient and not safe to have cracked polish, also not budget friendly if this is what I can expect in the future. read more

My daughter had her nails done there, spent over $60, and they looked horrible. She (17 years old) asked for a refund, they made her come back, cut the tips off but didn't remove the acrylic! That is despicable! read more
