The girls were not honest about their ability to do the shape or design I wanted. I came with a friend and she had the same problem with Emily. On top of all that, their spaces are dirty! I watched the girls use multiple tools on both me and others without doing anything to sanitize them. Tools were visibly dirty and the stations were incredibly cluttered and covered in nail dust. I don't think I will ever be going back here and I'm very disappointed with the service. It seems like these nail techs are more interested in money than providing proper services. 70 dollars down the drain.

We were there fir almost 2 hours til close, not once did we see anyone clean a station, sweep up or wipe anything down. No tools were being sanitized, just nothing. I recently went to another nail salon and this place beats it hands down! A new, modern place with a massage chair I can sit at while the technician does her thing? YESSSSS!!! I haven't even had the nail polish completed yet, so I can't comment on the quality of that, but she seems to be taking her time and ensuring she cleans up the edges, when needed. Things I would change if money was no option and the place was mine? 1) The overhead lighting... it is a more than desired as a customer, but I suppose it helps the technicians. I would soften the overhead lights and put portable lights to use just above the feet/hands. 2) I'm not keen on watching the food channel right now, but thankfully I have my noise reducing headphones with me. So perhaps over the ear wireless headphones that could be cleaned and provided to customers to listen to some spa music? But that sounds like a place that would have to charge more than I would want to pay! Lol. I think they'd be willing to change the channel if it was something I really wanted given it's the end of the day and no one else is here Update: I had to make a few very minor changes to the shape of a couple of toenails. Mediocre - average for a nail place. I've been getting Gel Nails for 5 years, and with bad weather…read morethought I would try somewhere new out of convenience. Asked for a gel fill, according to their window price chart thought it would be $40(clear)-45(color) plus tax and tip. The service itself was adequate, and my nails look mostly presentable, but not nearly as good as they should for what I spent. I came in with 1 broken nail, the girl proceeded to break 2 more as she was filing off my color from last time. After they're broken I'm told it's an extra $8 for the broken nails, that's a first for me paying for broken nails while I'm getting a fill, including nails they broke. Not a lot I can say, just get to suck it up and pay, so my nails look half way decent. I chose my color understanding I was getting colored gel nails. That means colored gel that comes in a pot not a gel polish. Which they charge extra for and make my nails $5 more for a product I'm not getting. A gel polish isn't going to have the strength or longevity that I would get for a colored gel nail. So the product I paid for is going to look like crap in 7-10 days. But a gel polish is exactly what they put on my nails. I have very messy nail bed lines that I can get tidier by doing my polish at home, this shouldn't be an issue at all with gel. Varying thicknesses of gel nails and not a single uniform length or shaped nail for my almond shaped gels. My first red flag should have been that I had to explain an almond shape nail to the tech. My nail tips on three nails don't point straight, and I basically gave up trying to explain what was wrong and just let her finish the service. So now I'll be going back to my normal place to get their sloppy work redone after being nickle and dimed. First time I've ever had a Gel fill cost $53 plus tax for gel polish on uneven gel nails that took over 90 minutes to do. I questioned the price of why I was paying for colored gel when I got gel polish and they just quoted their price list at me. If your fine with mediocre work for an inflated price feel free to give them your business, but I won't be spending another dime with them. I can get a dramatically better service at any of the other dozens of nails bars in Saskatoon!
