Mediocre - average for a nail place. I've been getting Gel Nails for 5 years, and with bad weather…read morethought I would try somewhere new out of convenience. Asked for a gel fill, according to their window price chart thought it would be $40(clear)-45(color) plus tax and tip. The service itself was adequate, and my nails look mostly presentable, but not nearly as good as they should for what I spent. I came in with 1 broken nail, the girl proceeded to break 2 more as she was filing off my color from last time. After they're broken I'm told it's an extra $8 for the broken nails, that's a first for me paying for broken nails while I'm getting a fill, including nails they broke. Not a lot I can say, just get to suck it up and pay, so my nails look half way decent. I chose my color understanding I was getting colored gel nails. That means colored gel that comes in a pot not a gel polish. Which they charge extra for and make my nails $5 more for a product I'm not getting. A gel polish isn't going to have the strength or longevity that I would get for a colored gel nail. So the product I paid for is going to look like crap in 7-10 days. But a gel polish is exactly what they put on my nails. I have very messy nail bed lines that I can get tidier by doing my polish at home, this shouldn't be an issue at all with gel. Varying thicknesses of gel nails and not a single uniform length or shaped nail for my almond shaped gels. My first red flag should have been that I had to explain an almond shape nail to the tech. My nail tips on three nails don't point straight, and I basically gave up trying to explain what was wrong and just let her finish the service. So now I'll be going back to my normal place to get their sloppy work redone after being nickle and dimed. First time I've ever had a Gel fill cost $53 plus tax for gel polish on uneven gel nails that took over 90 minutes to do. I questioned the price of why I was paying for colored gel when I got gel polish and they just quoted their price list at me. If your fine with mediocre work for an inflated price feel free to give them your business, but I won't be spending another dime with them. I can get a dramatically better service at any of the other dozens of nails bars in Saskatoon!

I've been going to Paramount Day spa for years, its the best spa in Saskatoon hands down! I see Nicky M. and she is an exceptional esthetician! She tints my lashes/brows once a month and I have also had pedicures and facials. Nicky has amazing attention to detail, and is always trying to improve her clients experience (she gives me a head rub while my tint is processing... heaven!). She is so friendly and accommodating, and truly the best at what she does! She also does amazing makeup applications and is extraordinarily knowlegable about skincare. 10/10 would recommend! I have never had a bad service the 9+ years I have been seeing her. If you want a relaxing experience while getting your glam on - Nicky M is your girl!

I booked my mother and I in for a pedi and mani shellac and when we arrived we were shown into a…read moretiny room and had an esthetician each start working on us. We were told that we could not have our hands soaked or warmed up for cuticle work prior to shellac coating because of risk of infection. My mother does not have the greatest fingernails and being old and over 75, not the best feet either. But at this point when the cuticle pushing hurt her hand, I was hoping they would try to figure out another way to work on them. Several problems with my mother and her nails, from not curing them properly and having to redo polish, to seeing her esthetician become visibly irritated with her - left me feeling very regretful. It cost $346 (not including tips) for both my mother and I to have this pedi and mani shellac experience - and a few of my mother's finger nail tips chipped off the next day. I will chalk this up to experience and not ever return here. I know these are not easy jobs but this spa should - at these prices - ensure they have the best people working on their clients. A massage chair that most nail salons have would have even been a nice touch but not even that was on offer.

Waited the 4 minutes then went to the front desk to purchase glasses and BROOK was not at the front, and another customer had gone into the open sunbed after I was marked down for it. It was BROOK here again this morning and when I got here, she said someone had just gone into the open sunbed. It was Brook that I dealt with both days, disappointed in whatever work she has done because somehow I keep being forgotten.

When you have the best experience it's hard not to tell the world…read more Last Saturday night I was going Swinging with the Stars and I wanted to get dolled up for the event. My daughter recommended her favourite place for pampering which is the Brow Babe. I was super excited to go, as my daughter Nicole had phenomenal make up and braids done there many times before. First thing I want to say is their space is very cool and so relaxing. I could have hung out all day taking in the atmosphere. Going to one place and getting your makeup and hair done at once is awesome. Taylor did my make up. Her attention to detail blew me away. She takes her work so seriously. I felt amazingly comfortable letting her do what she does. I don't wear much make up but she made me feel incredible wearing it. It was perfect for me with unreal lashes. She really is a make up artist! Wow! I felt like me times lots of confidence rocking it. Next up it was Whitney who is a amazing braider. It was unreal. I watched her help two other clients before me and I was sold on her artistic creativity. Honestly I was so happy with what she did with my hair. I was teary eyed and had trouble not ruining my sensational make up. I would give this experience with Brow Babe...10 Stars if I could. I left feeling so taken care of, so happy with my results and wanting to go back. I highly recommend this business to everyone.
