La Super Ice Cream Parlor is a laid-back, no frills spot that lets the flavors do all the talking. The team member working that night was outstanding: incredibly friendly, generous with samples (truly encouraged us to try as many as we wanted!), and genuinely helpful as we navigated the flavor options. It was an incredible menu, including unique options like Queso, Chamoy, Pinenut, and Eggnog alongside plenty of classics. Everything we sampled was delicious, which made choosing wonderfully difficult. Although we came for dessert, we noticed they also offer food items and an impressive wall of ice fruit bars (popsicles) that looked just as tempting. I went with a scoop of Eggnog, and it was phenomenal. I never expected to choose ice cream with raisins in it! My husband chose half Queso and half Chamoy and loved the sweet-savory combo. I'm SO grateful our friend introduced us to this spot. It's the kind of place you look forward to revisiting and we absolutely will next time we're in town. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I pass by this place and we were curious as to what it was.We finally stopped by,…read morea little confused as it's advertised as a bakery (the baked goods looked like they were store bought) and upon ordering the cashier seemed like she didn't care, no warmth. My boyfriend ordered two tacos, two coffees and a muffin. She didn't charge us for the muffin (Which seemed like they were the large muffin you get from Costco anyway) so we asked for it again. There were three options, but she only offered two after I let her know I wanted the option she didn't offer. The way the coffee condiment section is set up on an old stove ( which I thought was charming ) but you have to walk to the fridge to grab the gallon of milk (which is far from the condiment bar) a little inconvenient... Overall we were both confused as to if it was a bakery seeing that some of these items do not seem like they're made in house, nor do you see baked goods being made since it's an open kitchen. Is it a taco shop? Confused...

I'll start by saying that the place was friendly and welcoming. To be transparent, it was not the cleanest place, but it's the type of place that I'd like to visit to try out some BBQ! I ordered the rib plate with a side of potato salad, baked beans, corn bread, and a slice of pound cake. My fiancé ordered a rib sandwich, small baked beans, and a slice of strawberry cake with white icing. The ribs were very tender and the BBQ sauce was simply immaculate. There were a good number of ribs, but they were small and not as meaty as I would've wanted them to be. The potato salad was ok - the mustard was a bit strong. But those (vegetarian) baked beans were finger lickn' good. I'd highly recommend giving them a try. The cornbread was a bit dry, unfortunately. We enjoyed our cakes. The pound cake was the better choice out of the two. The strawberry cake had a "Captain Crunch" after taste that made us think it was more of a box cake than homemade. Overall, give this place a try and test it out for yourselves. My friend ordered the brisket sandwich and enjoyed it. His only grip was that he wish he would've asked for extra meat.
