My experience with Inbal Ben was extremely concerning…read more I contacted her about a specific rental unit that was being advertised. She initially provided details and mentioned there would be a showing. Within just a few hours, she suddenly informed me that the unit had already received a deposit. Immediately after that, she began pushing alternative properties -- every single one priced at least $1,000 higher than the original listing I had inquired about. The timing and sequence of events raise serious red flags. Presenting an attractively priced unit, confirming interest, and then quickly claiming it is no longer available -- only to redirect potential renters to significantly more expensive options -- strongly resembles a bait-and-switch tactic. Whether this is a pattern or not, the experience felt misleading and highly unprofessional. Renters are making major financial decisions, and this type of conduct erodes trust. If you are considering working with Inbal Ben, I strongly recommend extreme caution. Verify availability in writing and do not assume that advertised listings are genuinely obtainable. Transparency and integrity matter -- and in this case, both were seriously lacking.

We paid two application screening fees and provided full financial documentation. After submission, communication ceased entirely and no status update was provided. Multiple follow-ups went unanswered. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional handling of applicants. Have now filed a formal complaint against her and this company with the DRE.

Attempting to hire Voorheis & Voorheis for a land survey turned out to be a mistake…read more Earlier this year when I first purchased my house, I spoke to the owner, Donald Voorheis, about his company conducting a survey for my property. Donald was super nice and more than happy to help me. He took the time to look up my property and offer to give me a quote. Fast forward to this month when I contacted Voorheis & Voorheis for their services. I spoke with a representative who made sure to look up my property before offering me a quote for a survey. I didn't hear back from the company for 6 days. Then to add insult to injury, I was told that their company doesn't service my area, which was in glaring contrast to what Donald Voorheis told me earlier in the year, as well as the representative just recently. I'm not sure what was more disappointing, Voorheis & Voorheis' inconsistent information or the fact that it took them nearly a week to get back to me. I just wanted to share my experience. I am an Air Force veteran and this is my true and sworn testimony.

But for now, this is my honest experience in case its helpful for anyone else who is planning to rent with Earnest Homes. First, I'll say that working with Donna Cura has been great. She's extremely professional, and has been incredibly attentive at answering my questions around lease documentation. Thank you Donna for making the lease process go extremely smoothly. My concerns so far are with the move-in experience. Move in day is supposed to be exciting - you've just made a big commitment to sign a lease, put a deposit / pay first months rent, and have gone through the process of setting up all your paperwork and utilities. Come move-in day I thought I would be receiving SOME level of PROACTIVE communication / outreach about move-in day logistics and a walkthrough of the house. Instead, my move-in experience was the opposite. It felt like after I signed the documents my move-in process was an afterthought. I scheduled a walkthrough around 12:30 PM on a Friday, and was met by Oneda, who was really only there to conduct an inspection of the house. She didn't know how the house was set up or have any instructions for me on how to use the things in the house. I'll go into detail around what went wrong. To be fair, Oneda did a great job going through the inspection and was very thorough and objective at documenting the different issues (e.g., cracks in the tiling, stains, scratches, etc.) Now, where the experience went downhill for me. When we entered into the home, there were a HOST Of things that did not go right: 1) There were three electric outlets that had not been completed prior to move in, they had no covers on them. It looked as if the team had painted but forgotten to put the covers back on. 2) There was a lot of grime and dirt on the bathroom faucets. It didn't seem like they did a thorough cleaning prior to us moving in. 3) Oneda did not have any idea on how to navigate the things in the house, for instance, there were electric blinds that were down and she had no idea how to open them. I randomly figured it out by pressing a button on a remote nearby. Not a good look for someone who is supposed to be showing ME around the house. 4) The previous owner left their front door security camera system + a nest security system(?) I'm not even sure what it is because no one explained / has explained to me what it is for. At the moment, I'm not sure if its the previous owner using it to spy on us or not, because I have been provided literally zero information on it. 5) I have no hot water at the moment. I did my part to set up SoCal Gas, but I was again not given any information on move-in day on how to turn on the water heater. I was not even told where it was located, I went to the backyard to find it, and once I located it I had no idea on how to turn on it / determine if its even working. I followed the instructions / watched a youtube video in hopes of trying to turn it on to no avail. 6) Now, the one that really started the negative impression of the move-in experience - I was not given the front door access codes until 4:47 PM, despite my walkthrough being at 12:30 PM. And the ONLY reason I received them was BECAUSE I HAD to follow up and ask for them! I sent an email at 1:40PM, which did not get a response. I then called the number around 4:07 PM to follow up and thank god for Brian, because he followed up with my account manager, Keren Mendoza, (who I believe is supposed to be responsible for onboarding us) and I then received a response from Keren on how to unlock the front door code at 4:47 PM. That is absolutely ridiculous. She did not include ANY other information required like how to turn on the water heater, or use the electric blinds, or security system. I'm still hopeful that this experience can be turned around, but I will wait until I get a response from the team to provide an update.

I won't go back to this place simply because Alexandra has such an attitude. I don't like giving…read morenegative reviews but I also don't like price increases without being told before my appt and being surprised about it after. I also don't like being accused of random things. One time I had to cancel our Appt and she replied that I cancelled 3 times in a row which I never did.I just shrugged it off and she said she got me confused with someone else. Then I text her to make an appt for 2 returns and she told me to come at 9. I came in and wasn't seen until 9:17. When I took out my stuff she said she doesn't have time for 2 and argued with me about it. I told her I made an appt for 2. She looked at her text and saw she was wrong and didn't apologize. I noticed she charged me $20 more each. I texted her later letting her know I wasn't happy and then she said I changed the time of the appt on the same day 2 times. She said I prevented her from seeing others. What are you talking about? I just came at the time you told me to I have no idea what she's talking about. I have the text between us and never did I reschedule anything. She just blames and doesn't take responsibility. I don't like dealing with people like that. No thanks. Weird when you're giving someone $700 for less than an hour worth of work you'd think they treat you with some respect. And if she's referring to times I had to reschedule: If you have an issue with people not showing up or rescheduling their appts then maybe you should put a policy in place to prevent that or penalize people. Otherwise, people are just going to reschedule when they need to and that's how life goes. Take care
