Our wedding ceremony and reception venues were about 20 minutes away from each other, and each only gave us 3-4 hours for setup before the events. Sam worked genuine magic behind the scenes coordinating with vendors at both locations to make them absolutely perfect, and handled my potentially "type-A" moments with grace. I booked about eight months in advance for a day coordinator and we started communication about 2 months before the wedding. During that meeting I had what I would call the "outline" of a plan, and had booked the major items like (1) venue, (2) dj, (3) caterer, (4) photographer. But the actual plan that day was still pretty loose. On our first meeting, Sam drove all the way from Kent up to Woodinville to have a 4 hour in-person meeting with me and my husband to hash out the details. In the weeks leading up to the actual event I would go on to change that timeline like 4-5 times and Sam didn't bat an eye. She came with me to do a walkthrough of the event space and meet with the venue manager. She and I would communicate over text, email, and sometimes FaceTime. Sometimes I would even send her videos of things I was making last minute lol. This was all included and I had only booked a day-of coordinator. ON THE DAY ITSELF: She came to the hotel we were getting ready at to grab the decor items (which let me tell you I pretty much had no idea how they were supposed to look--I bought some random stuff off Amazon, Etsy, and antique shops, threw it in a box and handed it to her). I will note if you have anything heavy to have your husband and his friends move it, we had a few heavy items that we made like an altar piece. Then while we were getting ready and taking photos, she was setting everything up. Like everything, she just put it together and made it work. When we arrived to the venue, she arranged everything and everyone in my bridal party so I wasn't even thinking about anything. She brought me and my husband water. During the ceremony she was managing the catering timeline and the dj, all while getting "behind the scenes" shots of everything while not getting in the way of the photographer. After the ceremony, she had drinks ready for me and my husband. She brought snacks over to me and my husband while we were getting photos during the cocktail hour. She managed the timeline so I wasn't even thinking about "what time is it, do we need to start heading in?" She had drinks ready for us when we came in!! Throughout dinner and karaoke, she was just constantly on it, and we had a hard out by 11 (or else the venue would continue to charge us), and she had everything wrapped up and in our cars by 10:45. My wife's bridesmaid and MOH tried to open the veil for my wife, however they both were reprimanded by the coordinator to get in line and the coordinator stated that she would do it. She claims that she opened it up and the fan blew it closed when I turned the corner, but that is a blatant lie as the veil was already closed when my wife walked down the aisle as the coordinator never opened up her veil. Additionally, the fan was not strong at all, as evidenced on video footage. Another incidence, the seats were positioned improperly and not as a circular manner around the arbor. Katrina did not even remember that this was what was previously agreed on. The seats were also very lopsided on one side and were 2x the amount as the other side. When my brother-in-law notified Katrina, she did not even want to try to see if there was a way to improve it. She just said it's fine, and that the couple would not care and not to tell his sister. Katrina was very dismissive of our concerns. So my brother-in-law had to rely on the wedding venue person to help do her job. Unfortunately I did not know any of this was happening in the background because our wedding guests did not want to bother us so did not complain about the coordinator until we started to hear more complaints in the days after. Multiple individuals informed us of the coordinator Katrina's rude and curt demeanor when they asked her any questions or cared more than she did. Additionally, she was late for our initial meeting and was very disorganized. She also asked to take a bunch of our desserts home, which we let her, even though she didn't deserve it. We reached out to Katrina and tried to resolve these issues with her, but she was unwilling to, hence this lengthy review. Do not recommend working with her at all. Search elsewhere, unless you want someone unprofessional, disorganized, and untrustworthy. We truly regret having hired Katrina as our florist and coordinator.

When I contacted Katrina about this, she said "Well this keeps getting better and so frustrating. My computer crashed and I had to have someone else make my prints and I'm so irritated by it all. You can take the Part of the n off and after and restick. And then I'm Going to find a hole to climb into and die". Like what?? Also, to add when she contacted me two days prior I discussed a gold mirror with a sticker decal and she sent me a proof of a silver mirror. When I asked her about it, the level of empathy was disgusting. I will not be recommending this business to anyone & will let my florist know to take Love Blooms off her preferred vendor list.

Not just better food selections but more of it. When the vendor said it was a typo and they would fix it she said 'nope this is the contract that you had them sign. Typo or not you need to stick to this, they are entitled to this food at this price.' At that point in wedding planning i was so beyond exhausted i absolutely would have just rolled over and let the vendor adjust the signed contract. She stuck to her guns and we got the benefit of it. Woo Hoo We have the Week of Package, which really means that she takes over several weeks out. Following up with our vendors and asking me questions about details I never would have considered. Megan as been available for all of the silly questions and concerns that we have had and is prompt in her email response. She is able to offer suggestions on everything, babysitters in the area, vendors, when to do things, how to include family wishes along side our own, how to get Dicks Cheese Burgers to your wedding reception and everything in between. Megan is so friendly and easy to work with, she is prompt and organized. You just want to be her friend. I can not imagine getting through this wedding process without her, and its not even over yet.
