I filed a formal complaint against ANA Insurance regarding their failure to issue a refund that was…read morepromised to me for a homeowners insurance policy. In August 2025, I purchased a homeowners insurance policy through ANA Insurance, which was financed for one month at a cost of $187. I clearly explained my situation and the details of my apartment when purchasing coverage. Despite this, the broker sold me a Progressive Insurance policy that was not appropriate for my needs and was ultimately ineffective. After realizing this, ANA Insurance--specifically a representative named Amy--acknowledged the issue and promised me a full refund, including the first month's payment. However, after six to eight weeks of repeated attempts to contact their office, I still have not received the refund. The company has been extremely difficult to reach, and I have been unable to speak directly with the manager or obtain any confirmation regarding the refund. To make matters worse, Progressive Insurance later deducted an additional payment from my account for another policy I did not authorize. I was told I would receive the refund by October 30, 2025, but to date, no funds have been returned to my account. This ongoing lack of communication, unfulfilled promises, and financial mishandling have caused significant inconvenience and frustration.
