It's usually fairly calm when we begin our workouts in this area, the fields are empty and quiet. It's peaceful and the solitude is tranquil. I assume when many matches, games, practices etc are taking place the vibe is different. My son loves this area while I don't typically gravitate towards it much anymore, unless I'm with him. I've grown quite comfy heading right out my front door for upwards of 20mile runs (with out and back routes) but I used to like lapping a place several times. I just don't see the point in driving a car to a place to do what I can do from home. I'd almost rather run here from my neighborhood do a lap or two and run home but I don't typically run West of home. My son and I spend time together here, whether it be running or taking 7-15mile walks (he rucks carrying anywhere from 35-55lbs and I'll typically carry about 20 ounces of water ;) when I go along on these with him. It's a nice area and it gets the job done. I enjoy our time here, its a sensory and pavement change from some of my other routes and we cover a decent amount of ground in one lap (a little over 7miles). If you are looking for a place to get out and long run or walk for hours in a certain area with very few traffic lights I recommend it. It's also a lovely area to just toss out a blanket to meditate, enjoy a meal, stretch or read a book. While there's a ton of greenery and trees there are spots of heavy exposure, so always wear a hat or sunscreen and bring water if you require it. Bathrooms are scarce. Parking is plentiful.

Player development is clearly a priority, and we've seen progress week after week with all the kids in our class. Coach Alec runs a tight ship, creating a perfect balance of discipline, learning, and fun! You can see how much the kids enjoy the classes while continuously improving their skills. Beyond the training, Soccer Routes feels like a real community, where players and parents feel welcomed and supported. We're stoked to have found this program and will definitely be part of Soccer Routes for years to come. Highly recommend!!

We have been impressed with every aspect of the organization with the most important being the coaches. Coach Olivia is a natural with this age group. Even though it is a parent and me class she quickly recognized our son did not need us to be in the activities with him. She guided us how to support while giving him the level of independence he was ready for. It's only been six weeks and we can already see so much growth in his balance, coordination, and ball control. Even more important ... he has a smile on his face the entire time! The ratio of coach to child for our age group is almost 1:1. I also witnessed Coach Xavier helping to bring a child into the class who was having a hard time. No one asked him to but he took it upon himself and found ways to get the child onto the field, running, and kicking a ball. It was pretty impressive. The social media posts explaining the philosophy and how to support your child are very helpful. Staff are all responsive, kind, and professional. I highly recommend this quality organization to get your child started in sports with care and love.

I seriously cannot speak highly enough of GB Soccer School. We LOVE GB SOCCER SCHOOL. I first…read morestarted with my now 8 year old in 2018 and now have a 3 year old in class too, they both adore their classes, the games they play. What really sets GB Soccer apart is their top notch coaches. Every one of them we have had (which has been many over the years) have been lively, engaging and truly passionate about what they do. It's clear that they genuinely care about the kiddos, improving their skills and knowledge on the game by playing games they find fun. The kids don't even realize what skills for soccer they are actually gaining from the games/drills as they are just thoroughly enjoying themselves. We stepped out one year to try AYSO which we were severely disappointed by. Then GB Soccer started their Coach and Play sessions which is a similar idea of a practice and then a play each week and we came running back. My daughter immediately improved and learned so much about the rules of the game....where players' positions are and where they're allowed to travel, who throws the ball in etc. That class was a game changer. I feel it would be a good stepping stone to a league. I have always been lucky enough to have pre school friends (for both kids) who jumped on board when suggesting a private group class which my 3 year old now gets to experience. I feel this gives them confidence in the class by being surrounded by friends and just an extra bit of joy playing the fun games with buddies plus it's with parents you know. On the flip side to that I also see how GB fosters friendships and teamwork among the kids even from a young age, they are taught to shake hands after a 'one v one' and have good sportsmanship with each other. I firmly believe that the lessons they learn in group sports such as soccer are vital skills for life. Whether it's teamwork, communication, or perseverance, these are skills that will serve them well in any endeavor they pursue and I truly see these lessons bought to these classes from GB coaches. Thank you GB!! We appreciate you and your fantastic coaches!
