3 laws of physics, by issac newton: 1. Gravity. (What goes…read moreup must come down) 2. Inertia. (An object in motion stays in motion unless stopped by an immoveable force) 3. The push-pull effect (every action has an equal and opposite reaction) "It's all connected" -jack dempsey I suggest jack dempsey's books, "championship fighting", and "how to fight tough". He wrote how to fight tough, while he was a lieutenant, in ww2. In the u.s army. Championship fighting, his boxing book, is used in jeet kune do. Believe it or not, his book describes how to actually do the wing chun vertical jab, than any other book. The entering jolt, the falling step, it's all there. bruce lee called it the one inch punch, but it's just a strong 3 knuckle vertical jab. It was my trick to always hit hard with my lead hand. Easy to train. Jack dempsey's isometric excersises from his book championship fighting, really help. I love all martial arts, and that includes boxing. "What creates the strength of a knockout punch isn't about being a big man, it's about the shoulder snap, and the speed at which you throw the punches" -mike tyson "Be like water. Formless. Shapeless. You put it into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put it into a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Water can flow, or it can crash. Be water, my friends." -bruce lee Marching is taught for the same reason as boxing/kickboxing roadwork. Teaches you how to run, kick, and throw basic hard punches and throw objects without hurting yourself. Like baseball. Or any sport. It's called ergonomics. How your skeleton uses the 3 laws of physics, and tranfers weight. Like how you pick something up using your legs/knees instead of your back. Or how you push something using your legs. Or how you turn into throwing something like a punch or an object, with your legs. "Kung fu lives in everything we do" -jackie chan "Everybody is kung fu fighting" -carl douglas The irish riverdance and scottish sword dance performed by many scottish and irish children and adults alike are built around the footwork of sword fighting. It also has the same footwork as proper low kicks, because kicks were used by the highlanders in combat, aided by the "freeflowing design" of the kilt, that scottish highlanders are known for. Gotta love google. You can find anything on it, with reliable sources. Recently started going to hamilton jeet kune do, at 1050 paramount. Jeet kune do is boxing+kickboxing+karate+judo+fencing+muay thai+wing chun kung fu. It's not better, or anything. It's just a mixed style. Bruce lee and jack dempsey are often credited as the fathers of MMA. My name is literally david. David and goliath. Centrifugual force. A spinning wheel. He literally used it to hurl a rock at goliath, according to the story. If anyone was wondering why i was always in such a good mood. Thanks for never failing to prove me right, every step of the way. I learned a lot about myself, including the fact that i'm sharp as a razor, even when people want to treat me like i'm stupid. Tools exist. Hammers, wrenches. I didn't invent them. Mechanical devices. Gears. The cars you drive. It's literally everywhere. They don't teach you anything, they just take your money, and pick on you for trying to learn anything whatsoever.they constantly make up lies about you, and treat you like you're stupid. Go to hamilton jeet kune do instead. You'll learn the same things, plus more, and in an environment where people won't use you as a human punching bag, and laugh at your mistakes, and lie to you about anything you try to learn outside of the gym, espescially if it works. Would never go again, not even for free. How they treat people is disgusting

This place is the real deal!! Everyone is made to feel welcome and it's a great way to get in…read moreshape! Go try a free lesson you won't be disappointed!! These guys ROCK!!!
