I was very disappointed after reading all of the good reviews. My hairdresser messed up my haircut…read morereally bad. First of all I didn't really get the feeling that the hairdresser was listening to me at all. Second of all, the haircut was really badly performed. For exampel I had to actually re-shave my head in the area around the ears and the neck when I got home. I tried to reason with this guy but he left me feeling stupid with a bad haircut. Very sad since I don't like leaving bad reviews. Ps. He used to live in London, so it wasn't a question of things getting lost in translation.

Terrible experience. I told the colorist that I wanted to…read morecover my white hair. I chose a ash-y color from the chart. It turned out to be really brassy which was opposite of what I wanted. She literally told me "It's not my fault. It's your hair." My white hair wasn't even covered and I was charged more than 100 euro. I asked her why is it so expensive..She said they make their own dye product, which is reasonable, and then she added "If you want something cheap you just have to find a cheap salon.". I just paid without trying to argue. She didn't do her job well and blamed it all on me in the end with the worst defensive attitude. I just thought I'd warn anyone who is considering this salon in advance.

Total crap. I made an appointment for 11am with Amy 1 week prior. 25 minutes before my appointment,…read moreAmy calls and asks if I can come in at 15:00, which is when I start work, myself. So she passes me off to Alex. Alex seemed nice enough, but I quickly realized that he wasn't listening to a word I said. He was absent minded and distracted, asking me the same questions numerous times as if we were in the Twilight Zone. I hadn't let a hairdresser cut my hair in 6 years because I've had nothing but bad experiences. I've learned how to cut it myself and there are a couple friends I trust to do the more difficult sections. I digress. Anyway, I was SUPER specific about the layers I wanted. Well, before I knew it, he was blow-drying my hair with a round brush and I was beginning to look like Jennifer Anniston in the really bad years. I told him I don't stye my hair that way and that I felt like my hair wasn't quite short enough and he said, "trust me, you'll look great". I paid €40 plus a €5 tip because I'm American and too nice not to tip even when I'm unhappy. I walked home and became more and more angry with every step. I got home, sobbed in the mirror, wet my hair and restyled it. It looked like I hadn't had a haircut at all. After much deliberation with friends and colleagues, I realized I had to call back and tell Alex that I wasn't happy. The next morning I called and Alex answered. I told him who I am, that he cut my hair the day before, and that I think we had different ideas about what 'choppy layers' means. He immediately snapped at me and said, "so, what am I supposed to do about it?" and "Who are you, again?" and "can you spell that?". We made an appointment for the next week, I obviously didn't show up, and he certainly didn't call. I just don't understand why he wouldn't want to right the situation. If not for the client, then for pride in his craft. All the potential was there. I could have talked to the manager and demanded my money back - and maybe I should have - but I thought it better to leave a review for those of us who like honest reviews.
