They act in the best interest of the owners (which makes sense - they manage!). As a result my complex has nicer landscaping, no building problems and the general maintenance of all the buildings and ground is great. In this economy, I have seen them work with real problem tenants. I know all this as a former Board member for my complex.

Thank you Christine for helping me become more prepared in my search and more knowledgeable of the process and what is required of me. It's nice to see that the folks at Summit are still as kind and caring as they were in 2012 and 2017 when I was a tenant. Maybe I will be able to rent with them again but no matter where I end up I am thankful for the help and kindness Christine and her team have shown! I appreciate you!

It truly is difficult trying to work "with" someone that can't articulate processes in a professional manner. It is Tiffany's job to relay HOA RULES and STEPS to the home owners that pay for their services, not scream at them. I hope this post helps others! I have worked with Summit Properties for the past 16 years I can honestly say that Karen and Theresa are extremely helpful. They have helped improve our Homeowners Association, manager our dues and reserves. My 1 suggestion would be to have someone bubbly answering the phone. Efficient or bubbly is great but BOTH skills would be AWESOME!!

Despite that, I felt they took advantage of my security deposit by charging unfair and questionable fees. The communication throughout the move-out process was frustrating, and I did not feel that my concerns were addressed fairly. It seemed like they were looking for reasons to keep money from my deposit rather than evaluating the property objectively. Based on my experience, I would encourage future renters to thoroughly document the condition of the property with photos and videos and carefully review any deductions made from their deposit. I would not choose to rent from this company again. Not to mention they use fake documents or old documents to get more money from you Extremely shady company BEWARE

Let's not talk about how shitty the rest of the parking lot is, I'm supposed to pay $1800 to pave one parking spot? Funny that it's their own maintenance guy and his contracting company that's gonna charge $1800 when all the bids that I got were less than 1200. When I realized they were just playing games with me and my money, I quit wasting my time responding to them and now I'm just waiting for my deposit check back in the mail. 22 days! Oh yeah, and don't think I didn't notice that you've already listed the pristine apartment I left as available for rent... and you still want to make threats! They're just trying to take advantage because I'm one of the highest paid people that lived there, and they will do whatever they can to get every last red cent out of anybody, so it's better you just don't waste your time dealing with these people because they're scammers and they don't even know how to follow basic property management law.

When I called to inquire if someone was on their way, the only option was to leave a voicemail. 40 minutes later, I receive a response telling me that I wasn't in their system as having an appointment. Instead, they throw out a link to apply for the property that they didn't show and for other available properties. Zero star rating. From previous reviews, looks like this type of disregard has been going on since 2013.
