I have been coming to tan here since it was paradise tan, very friendly place. The upsell is very much overkill, by the time I leave there to tan after paying my membership I also dump another 25 bucks to tan for the day..!!! I went in today to do a stand up tan and have never had an issue with not seeing an instant tan. Today after I left, I noticed I did not look any tanner then when I walked in the door..NO tan lines at all.!!. And to confirm there was no smell to the spray solution which I know is a very strong smell. I went back to the place after an hour to show them and explain my situation, they told me that it would take 1 to 3 hours to notice a tan, which is malarkey because I have tanned plenty of times and I always see instant color. I will definitely be canceling my membership today. Waste of my money, I think they are skimping on tanning solutions trying to save a little money here or there...!!! read more

Super cute place to go for a quick spray tan. It's clean it's fast it's very affordable if you're in their unlimited sprays per month club. I personally am against tanning beds because I love my beautiful soft skin and feel like if you want your skin to look like leather then tan your hide! Loved that during this week it's Glo's 14th anniversary they had a wonderful appreciation specials- their products have 40% off and the prorate is waved for the remainder of the week! Today I brought my brother to try a spa service neither of us have ever heard of- hydration pod which has all the heat locked in to highten the sweat process to focus on area for your body to detox and cleanse- add that special bottle of cinnamon called Skin by Glo, you will tingle and feel a new sensation of the heat produced and releasing out of your body! Bella, and Michelle were sweeties and their attention to care was above and beyond as they were getting ready for the facility to close. Really excited to try this into my routine and see what happens for the next month. Plenty of parking space, cute area for pictures and admiring yourself. I happened to stumble upon Glo Tanning on a recent work trip. I tried one of their detox beds where you can burn up to 300 calories in 20 mins via steam heat. It was so relaxing! I tried their stand up red light therapy after that. I left feeling refreshed and energized. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this location. I have a membership here and this was the first time I had an issue with the place feeling in disarray. I would be happy to adjust my rating if the manager wants to communicate as the customer service line is terrible ( off site ) I bc went in for a spray tan and keep in mind everything is an upgrade. Your monthly service charge doesn't cover it all. I paid for upgrades. The lotion bottle was completely empty, which is for use on hands feet elbows, etc. no baby wipes no hair ties and top it off the towel. That's on the floor in the tan booth which I thought it felt a little moist but didn't think much of it until my feet were completely black so that wasn't changed after use. Just gross. Thank goodness I didn't use a tanning bed today because I would have been terrified of how it was cleaned. Please update employees that this type of establishment needs to be cleaned at all times for each customer use. read more

I came in the next day asking to speak to the manager and I contacted customer service. The customer service department told me to keep my lines open, I waited around all day with nothing. Awesome place to go tanning... I personally don't tan because I'm already naturally tanned. However, my wife that's "white" or super light skinned for a Cuban/ Puertorican woman. Also, several of the models & athletes that I photograph also get their tanning done at paradise! The paradise tanning owner & staff are super friendly and always on their game!!! When the wife comes out of her tanning booth - within a few hours you can see the results!!! This was my first spray tan experience! The staff is super friendly and informative. The store also has very client friendly hours :) They are able to direct you and educate you in the proper ways to prepare prior to your appointment and how to keep a lasting tan. Keep in mind that it can be a little pricey but as a first time guest you can get a couple free perks! On another note there were a few problem areas that causes some concern the day after getting sprayed (hands/wrists/ underboob) that I wasn't thrilled with. I went in the following afternoon and they took care of my concerns and addressed the problem areas. Cant say I'm a spray tanner for life but it was different and unique experience. I went here for the first time to do a trial run before my wedding. Diana, Allie & Kaylee were super sweet and friendly. Allie explained everything to me-- literally every bed, every treatment but not in an overwhelming way. She knows her stuff! I opted for the custom airbrush and Kaylee sprayed me. So far it looks amazing! I also did the hydration bed (I think that's what it's called) and it was lovely! Definitely a must before your tan. I do think I wanna try the automatic sprayer to keep my tan until my wedding. The salon is also beautiful and smells delicious! Definitely recommend! read more

This was hands down the worst spray tan I've ever had. I had not seen my boyfriend in over a month so was looking forward to getting a little color and feeling my best before going to see him. That was a huge mistake, I got the tan 2 days before I left. When I woke up to shower the next morning I noticed blotchy spots all over my legs and feet but figured it would wash off. Boy was I wrong!! I even tried scrubbing some of it off to get SOMEWHAT of an even color. Nothing I did was making it any better. I was so upset not having anytime to go back to see if they could fix it before I left. It honestly made me want to cancel my trip. I've had spray tans here before but paying $75 for it to turn out like this not something I will ever be doing again or would recommend to anyone! **update- the manager gave me a call to apologize for the bad experience. After seeing all the positive reviews I thought I'd drive the 45 minutes from my house to give their custom airbrush a try. I was home from college for the weekend and needed to get a spray before I went back. I get sprays twice a month in Tallahassee, so I know what I am doing. When I walked in the girl working was very friendly and directed me to the correct room. However, I wasn't a fan of when I was getting sprayed all she talked about was the add ons that I should buy. Not to mention, I had already told her I am a college student and don't live in this area. I was shocked when I got to the cash and the total was $110. I pay $25 at most for a custom airbrush in Tallahassee. I just figured that maybe it was just a really good spray tan, so I stayed hopeful. I was wrong. I woke up the next morning with stripes down both of my arms. I called the salon and they told me to come in to have it fixed. This is a 45 minute drive for me so I was already irritated that I had to come back. The owner did attempt to fix my arms but they still have huge color patches. I cannot go out without long sleeves. She also told me that I probably bumped my arms on something to create the patches. Nope. I have been getting spray tans for years and I know how to take care of them. This is a nightmare. I have never had an experience like this in Tallahassee. The owner did not take any money off of my spray tan and it's basically useless at this point. What if this was for a special occasion or a wedding? The spray should have been fixed properly or I should have been refunded. update: the owner was so nice in refunding me fully for the spray tan!! she was very friendly and worked everything out perfectly!! read more

LOVE THIS PLACE! I go mostly for airbrush spray tans. I go to Diana (the owner). It never fails - I leave this place looking and feeling great! The staff is always so nice and accommodating and treat you like family- my son always begs to come with me because everyone is so nice. I have been going since I moved to FL and have used the tanning beds, too. Super clean rooms with deodorant and even candy! I would never EVER go to anyone else if I need to look good.
