Took at least 30 minutes just to get started both times I went, had to pay $10 more for a spray tan that I could wash off the same day (otherwise you can't shower for 24 hours), I got almost no noticeable result even with the darkest tan (except on my face- that was extremely dark), and they continued charging me even after I cancelled my membership. I saw an add on Facebook for a January special for unlimited tanning and I've been wanting to get back to tanning, so I went in with my friend to redeem the offer. They did require a card to be on file but did not charge it. They stated we can cancel anytime before the 1st (normally the 20th, but the end of the month for this deal) and not be charged the $70 for next month (If I end up cancelling and that ends up being an ordeal, I'll definitely update my review). First of all, we were welcomed by the manager when we walked in. She was very friendly and very knowledgeable. We did feel a smidge pressured to purchase lotion which you always expect from a tanning salon, so that wasn't surprising. I definitely have a few pros and cons to share: Pros: great location, spa services, the ability to use multiple beds on the same day (red light therapy, sun bed, spa bed, or spray tan), friendly service, and clean beds. I also liked that they provide robes to wear if you are doing multiple beds so you don't have to get undressed each time (this also falls into cons- see below). Cons: eyewear not provided (had to purchase- not a huge deal but some other salons provide it), no cleaner in the room for you to clean the bed yourself (I like to be extra sure it's clean), no trash can in room (again, not a huge deal but I had to put my opened lotion packet in my purse), they seem to be short staffed. It got really busy and only one person was working so we had to wait awhile for her to clean the bed so we could tan, Several of the beds needed maintenance which the manager told us (my bed turned off after 7 mins- not sure why), robe didn't fit my large chest so I had to undress/redress in between each bed, and they don't have a basic bed package which I normally do. Although the beds are nice, I tan nicely in a regular bed too and normally would pay way less for this somewhere else. A few recommendations I would give to the owner would be to have a separate "spa area" for those in a robe waiting for the next bed. I wouldn't have felt comfortable sitting in a robe on the couch by the front door or window with people walking in and out (including men). Also, maybe a refreshment station as we were in there almost TWO hours by the time she gave us the tour, signed us up, gave a lotion sales pitch, waited on beds, etc. a bottle of water or light snack would have helped SO much! Also, providing the option for people to clean their own beds would help especially during COVID. I don't doubt the bed is being cleaned, but when one person is working and it's super busy, I would feel more comfortable cleaning it myself to make sure nothing was missed. Overall, I think this place has potential to be amazing. I don't think they're quite there yet. I know they took over this store from another company, so hopefully they'll improve eventually. It would also be nice to have a cheaper unlimited plan option for basic beds. I love that they offered this January special. I'm hoping if I decide to cancel, it's not a hassle. I'm not sure yet if I'll stay or not. I guess it'll depend on how well their beds and services grow on me. read more

Glo is the most welcoming tanning salon I have ever been to! The girls immediately greet you whether they're busy or not. I know as soon as I walk through the door I'm about to have a fun yet relaxing time. They have multiple services to choose from including spa services (which is awesome!!), spray tanning services, and many many beds!! Sometimes it's almost hard to choose!! A few great things about my experience: A wonderful greet, being treated like I'm genuinely cared about, a selection of services, some of the best lotions (btw- you have to smell some!), being offered a robe for multiple services, and wait times are completely tolerable! They get you in pretty quick. Trust me if you're considering this place- GO!! You won't regret it. I recently went in for the Open House (Broken Arrow location) and ending up signing up for a monthly membership. First I want to say that "Tan in a Day" really works!! I did the 3-step process and definitely got a bronze color from that. Now that I am a member and try to go in for services a few times a week....I am rethinking my decision. Although its a good problem to have, this location is just too busy. I have waited over 20 mins for a service, but more often I leave without any service. First, there should be at minimum 2 employees at all times. 1 person just can not handle all the traffic. Second, it would be really awesome if you would maybe put a smaller desk in the back for returning members or second services (not only is it weird to have to wait at the front door in your robe, but seems like services could move a lot faster if we didn't have to wait on the 1 employee to do 3 new sign ups and tours). read more

I have been coming to this salon prior to it even being glo just because it is close to my home. Today I canceled my membership. I hate paying for horrible customer service And refuse to do it anymore. For the 3rd time in less than a month I went in to tan. When I got there there were 13 people waiting on beds. All of the beds were empty and the doors wide open with the two employees that were there - one was on the phone waiting for guest services which didn't make sense and another running around not really accomplishing anything. This has happened more times than not when I go in. There have only been a few times that I have gotten good service there, which is unfortunate. I wouldn't waste your money unless you like to wait, enjoy being frustrated and love to pay for horrible customer service. I'm going to Tan Your Moon across the street. read more

The tanning beds are all that is good about this place. I went in March to prepay for 3 months of tanning. I advised the front desk I only wanted 3 months & nothing beyond. They said I would need to call guest services not only for that but to also have them apply a $10 coupon. I have spoken with guest services 3x since I was debited again after 3 months. They agree that I called but say there is nothing about ending after 3 months. I am a single mom on a budget and looked at doing something nice for myself for the first time in 10 years and I got srewed. $78 may not be much to some but it is a lot for a mom with two teens. I asked to speak with a supervisor " Carson " is what I was told their name was and as told I could not & they would call me back. It has yet to happen and this has gone on now for more than 72 hours. They told me I could call their atty called Reed Law Services in Fayetville and nobody answers the phone there & there is not even a way to leave a message. I highly suggest to NEVR give them a credit card number. They will screw you ! read more
