I found this salon when I urgently needed make up for a photo shoot. Two days before I scheduled an appointment with Shelly (I was told that only she is available). I arrived about 2-3 minutes early but Shelly was not there. I had to wait for her to arrive (she arrived on time but wasn't ready) and then it took 15 min for her to empty her make up bags - to take out all the products and figure out what to use/how to use it (even though I had sent her a picture of what I want). She also didn't have any pale pink lipsticks of my choice so I had to offer her my own (which was not what I wanted but closest that I could get). At the end we were running out of time and she was rushing too much. I almost ended up late for my photo shoot, and one of my cheeks was looking like I had a bruise on it. Because I was so late I had no time to check the make up closely, I just said it's "pretty" and left. What else I could do?! I had no time to change anything. Also, there was some annoying man who liked my hairstyle (NOT make up but he liked HAIR) and wanted to take a picture of me. I kept telling him "no" but he was running after me with his cell phone and trying to snap a photo anyways. So rude and disrespectful! Bottom line, my make up appointment with Shelly would have been better if she was prepared when I arrived, and the annoying man wasn't there. The positive facts - there is free parking in front and the prices are decent. PS. Because of the rude (and wrong) response from the owner I have lowered my rating to 2 stars. Clearly she is lying as Shelly took 15 minutes to empty her make up bag and decide what to do. So that's 15 min out of my appointment. She just arrived with her bag (on time) but was not prepared! Beware! Also, the "annoying man" liked my hairstyle not my make up. And I could not say anything about my bruised check because I didn't have time to inspect the work properly, I had to run. And only later I saw the results. Also, it doesn't matter WHEN someone posts the review! Because it's not like I have time to sit an post review after each appointment and visit! read more

When I was in college my mom had an amazing hair stylist come to our house and he would do my mom and sister and my hair - I only trusted him. Then we lost touch :( In my mid thirties I searched yelp for Blue Hair Color and found Simone. Now she was the only one I trusted with my hair. Lo and behold, as I sat in her chair for the first time in her new location I heard a familiar voice... Ren! My amazing hair stylist from college! What a small world that the only two stylists I've ever gone to more than once would open a salon together... They deserve ten stars. I'm so sad we moved out of state and now my search starts over again. read more

Found this salon though word of mouth. From the moment I walked in I was greeted and introduced to my master stylist, Janet. She asked what I was looking for and within a matter of minutes of showing/describing what I was looking for she knew what I wanted. Between her and the awesome staff I was well cared for. I was offered a beverage and a relaxing chair. Long story short, I walked out with gorgeous blonde highlights. Janet is a highlight genius!! I would recommend their salon in a heartbeat!!
