I've been hesitant to write this review, but I feel like sharing my experience may help someone…read moreelse be careful about who they trust with their hair. I usually have my hair done by Rosie, and she has always done a great job. Last December, Rosie wasn't available to do my hair, so I was referred to Sarah instead. Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience. I went in for a spiral perm, something I've been getting since I was 13 years old, so I'm very familiar with how my hair normally responds to a perm. After this appointment, my hair was severely overprocessed and damaged. I was also uncomfortable when Sarah made a comment insinuating that I was trying to copy someone else's hairstyle. I have never experienced this kind of damage from having my hair permed before. Months later, I'm still working on getting my hair healthy again, and it has not fully recovered. I'm sharing this because I think it's important to be careful about who you trust with your hair, especially when chemical processing is involved. I can only speak about my own experience, but unfortunately, mine was very disappointing.

On April 29, 2025, I had a Lash Lift plus Tint and Eye Brow Lamination and Tint by Janet Rodriguez…read more I was very pleased when I left the Studio and told Janet that I would be back in June. I wrote her a text on May 9, 2025, stating that I had just looked in the mirror and was shocked after paying $282.76, which included taxes of $22.76. I was told that I didn't have to pay a tip, and I believe that's why the $22.76 was added. On May 10, 2025, I received a text from Janet telling me that the tint probably faded: "As it only lasts 7 days on the skin." Janet had not told me that before I had the procedure, and now I have brown or orange eyebrows. Since my eyebrows were also waxed, they are very thin, with gray stubble growing straight out. I am very upset, since my eyebrows will not grow back in some places. The right eyebrow is shorter in the front, and the left is shorter in the back. Janet offered me a complimentary tint on my eyebrows and lashes, as well as a future appointment. I texted her on May 28, 2025, that I wouldn't let her near my lashes or eyebrows if she paid me.

It was just so uncomfortable. I saw countless of "Brazilian waxing" YouTube videos where the person getting waxed is in tears and bawling because it's painful. That pretty much made me nervous as hell - but I booked an appointment with Jillian anyways. I may be covered in tattoos but I am the biggest baby there is. Jillian made me feel comfortable as soon as I got into the room. She literally talks to you and makes you laugh the entire time, and it's done before you know it. My first Brazilian with her was the best experience ever. I felt nothing! Painless. I was shocked on how easy and fast it was. So basically everyone who documents their Brazilian wax on YouTube either is dehydrated or has a really bad waxer, or both. ‍ Jillian gives you recommendations on products to help with your skin and hair - which all work by the way! Fur Oil is A+ and Deck Scrub! I have recommended her to most of my coworkers and they all go see her. Jillian is an incredible human being and an amazing esthetician.
