My new favorite waxing place!…read more I haven't had a good eyebrow wax in about 3 months...the last place I went royally messed them up so I've been waiting for them to grow out... AKA they looked like a hairy water buffalo (sexy right?) Someone mentioned that I try The Waxing Room and since I was in the area I decided to give it a try and I'm SO glad I did! From the moment I walked through the door I noticed that this isn't your regular "salon" it smelled wonderful and very personal. The owner Ida immediately welcomed me in, I didn't have an appointment & only had to wait about 3 minutes. Contrary to what another reviewer said, I was seated in a stool that had plenty of natural light (perfect for seeing every little hair). The biggest thing that stood out to me was that Ida asked exactly how I liked my brows, she used a template to outline the perfect shape and the wax was quick and painless! Another great feature was afterwards she filled my eyebrows in and added highlighter to my eye lids so my makeup almost looked like it hadn't been touched! Ladies...how many times have you left a waxing place and your eyebrows are RED and have shiny aloe smothered all over the place?! Nope, not this place, I looked almost ready to go out for the evening. I look forward to going back again in 3 weeks to see Ida and many more times after that!

To my luck, there was a Groupon for this place so I decided to try it. Ashley is the BEST!!! I've been to top places in NYC because I'm so sensitive and picky. She really exceeded my expectations. Her office was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated and she was warm and professional. I was done in no time and never noticed any pain. And my threshold for pain is very very low!! Lol. This is definitely my go to place for sure!!!! I would definitely try it if you're having any doubts. The only tip is calling to make sure where her studio is located as it is a bit confusing and difficult to find if you don't ask or aren't from Orlando.

I have been a loyal customer to Dermi Wax Center for the past 2 years of living in Orlando and let…read moreme tell you that the European Wax Center doesn't even COMPARE. I've received Brazilian Wax + Buttock Strips from all three of the women who work there (Jessica, Daiana, and Gloria) and they are all amazing in their special way. Jessica is more on the gentle side; she doesn't dig into your skin and she is very quick with her service. I had a Brazilian done by her in under 30 minutes. Gloria is a PERFECTIONIST. She will spend a great amount of time on your area to make sure no hair is visible and she will definitely get into your skin to get all ingrown hair out. Daiana is wonderful too! She's like a mix of Jessica & Gloria. They are also great conversationalists and convo with them will definitely make the pain assuage and the time go fast. Why should you wax instead of shave? Wax will make your hair a lot softer and the more you do it, the faster your wax will become. Your hair will also grow a lot slower than if you shaved. If this is your first time getting a Brazilian Wax, here are some tips: 1. Your hair needs to be as long as a grain of rice, no longer. If you know for sure your pubic hair are longer than that, TRIM the hair. DO NOT SHAVE! 2. If you've already shaved, you have to wait a month to grow it out. 3. Talk during the wax about anything! 4. Don't shave ever again and come back every 4-6 weeks depending on your growth 5. Get wax product from Walmart/Target if you are going to a last minute beach day to avoid shaving 6. Buy the extra products they have: glove, exfoliating beads, and their special soap to avoid ingrown hairs.
