Loved the carbs here! The scone was crumbly and zesty, studded with raisins. Washed down well with my glass of bubbly, coffee would be great too! The toast was thick and chewy and so good, not processed tasting at all, freshly baked with good ingredients. Sat outside with lots of birds eager for me to drop something, but I ate every crumb. So delicious. Great place to get a snack anytime. Trust me the choices will leave to wanting to go back.

I arrived earlier than the standard check-in time and and was accommodated with my Marriott Gold Status. After completing some documentation I was provided my keycard and was given a guided tour to my room. The room was in nice condition and had a work desk which I needed. I turned on the thermostat as it was warm upon arrival. I attempted to set my room temperature to 18C but it would only allow me to set at 19C minimum. I went out to see the town for a few hours and came back and the room was still quite warm. I notified the staff and the offered to move me to a cooler room which I accepted. The second room was nice as well but was much cooler. The hotel is conveniently located in the Helsinki City Center and many destinations are walkable. This hotel has two places to eat, a bakery and a breakfast restaurant (buffet-style). I didn't attempt to eat here outside of breakfast as several restaurants are also located within walking distance. I can't say enough how polite and pleasant the staff is here. Four stars!

I even appreciated the blackout curtains, as the sun does set quite late in the Helsinki summer month and rises again awfully early (they really should do something about this ;-) The breakfast is included in the rate and while it doesn't contain hot items such as scrambled eggs, it is perfectly tasty and there's plenty of other things that gave me energy for the day. The rooms are very spacious, meticulously kept and quiet for a restful night sleep. The people that work here from the front desk to the restaurant could not be more helpful. It is a bit pricey but well worth the money that you'll spend. We took advantage of the restaurant for a delicious buffet type breakfast to start the day but if you want something lighter many cafe's close by. Also used the exercise facility which is associated with a spa on the 8th floor that had everything I needed. This is a wonderful hotel & would recommend it!

We've been exploring the city in the daytime and after walking around quite a bit, all you can ask for is a relaxing sauna break. It's not big but having to be able to enjoy this as a complimentary was very nice. So overall, it has great service, nice staff, amazing amenities and hip atmosphere for a reasonable cost. I felt it made stepping through presentation material more natural and appealing, since it sort of blended into the décor. The on-site catered lunch was excellent -- it was a salad lunch with many options like garden, greek, salmon, and caesar. The smoked salmon salad was particularly tasty. Standard coffee, tea, water etc. that you'd expect from such a facility. All in all, an exceptional experience and I highly recommend Glo Kluuvi as a business venue. And the ambiance is really nice too. There are a lot of great areas that are in walking distance around the hotel. Hello everyone So we…read morestayed here the night before we left for our cruise. I must first say thank you to all of the staff when we checked in. When we landed we found out that Finnair had lost our luggage, so had no clothes or toiletries for our 11 day cruise. So it was a pretty rough start of our trip. When we arrived the hotel and told them our story they were immediately understanding and gave us each a toiletry bag to at least get us started. They also provided us with a converter and plug so that we could charge our electronics at least. They were the first people that helped bring our trip around and we are so grateful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We recommend this hotel for its service and for it being so comfortable. Thank you again! Have fun everyone!

However on the Wednesday night of my stay there was a party on the floor below me. Mind you, I'm on the 6th floor, and I could see out the window to the lower floor and I saw a dj. Someone had rented out the space a couple floors below me for a party. I thought that was very strange given it's a hotel. But I was pretty tired anyways and fell asleep pretty quick. There's also a huge gym that you can use. We left our luggage with the hotel and we weren't given luggage tags so we can later collect them. I asked for some but was told we didn't need them.
