I was able to get a great rate and I can say I was extremely pleased with this hotel. The hotel is conveniently located one block from the Number 4 light rail line which you can catch near the central railway station, right across the street from a cruise ship terminal and a mere fifteen minute walk to downtown. The hotel has but two small negatives: the windows are remarkable small and the rooms are deep but narrow. The positives, however, are plentiful. The hotel staff was very helpful, the lobby was spacious and nice there is a mini snack shop in the lobby, there are plenty of elevators and just a ten minute walk places you at the bottom entrance of the promenade. The breakfast was pretty good. There was the usual coffee, three juices to choose from and every day they provided scrambled or boiled eggs, bacon, toast and potatoes. The hotel is extremely well insulated so if you seek privacy, this is the place. Also, notwithstanding the hotel's size, which is rather large, elevators were always available and unlike the elevators in the other Helsinki hotels, the elevators here were large. Of the three hotels I have stayed at in Helsinki I would rate this one first, followed by the Arthur and the Finn. I would book a room here again provided I can get a rate of around one hundred U.S. dollars.

They have a step for kids to reach up during check in. Very cute!

One of the most comfortable sleep I've had in a hotel! The building is a converted warehouse, so it's not the most elegant exterior or location. However, where it matters the hotel hits all the right notes. Rooms: Small and narrow, but the beds are very comfortable. Not the extra soft kind, but great support. The tv comes with HDMI and usb connection for your own devices. Lots of plug points in the room, good free Wi-Fi, and a comfy lounge chair. I missed a tea & coffee maker, but that's probably a European thing. Bathroom: No tub, but the shower is eco friendly and water temperature was just right. Brightly lit, clean, and compact. Breakfast: Could get slightly chaotic when cruise traffic arrives, but most days it's very convenient. Great variety, delicious high quality options, and quick refills. The coffee wasn't very good, but the different types of cheese were fab. I think it's included in most room rates, which is a rare and welcome perk for the price (about $100) Events venue: The Marina Congress Center is a large venue with great views right across the road. They need better AV support, only one guy running around doesn't cut it. But excellent catering, spacious halls, and easy access. Both hotel and Congress Center are a short 15-20 minutes walk from main attractions in Helsinki, the parks, and fabulous restaurants. Weather was nice when we went, so it was even more fun

Scandic Helsinki HUB is a perfect place to regain your strength. The reception area was warm and welcoming and greeted by a wonderful and helpful Host. But, our room was appointed in a thoughtful and caring way. The designs are simple and made the time to rest so peaceful. The rooms are comfortable and well insulated so the room was so quiet. Breakfast was perfect!!! Such a wonderful experience with a Menu so diverse and tasty. All Staff members are well represented by the amazing way they acknowledge you as a Very Important Guest. Wonderful hospitality!!! We'll definitely return to be spoiled and treated with respect.

The other problem with the room was, it was fairly dirty with smudges mud on the floor and another sign said it was not cleaned well at all. We requested a different room, and luckily it was better, but I would still say the cleanliness wasn't up to the standard I was hoping for for the price point level of the hotel. This hotel is definitely built for conferences and gathering large groups. You'll find meeting rooms, coworking spaces, and a large courtyard attached to the restaurant. It's hard to beat the location across the street from a park and only two blocks from the main Esplanade in Helsinki. The star of the show is definitely the complementary breakfast experience featuring fresh juice, nutrition, shots, crêpes, variety of overnight oats, and several hot dishes with mini being traditional finish offerings. I could've spent hours eating at the complementary breakfast -the courtyard seating outside topped it all off. I will probably stay here again for the breakfast alone. However, I'm a big believer that no how no matter how fancy the hotel room design, if it's not super clean, it doesn't really do it for me.

Such a cute small place which a is accessible from the outside, they have a wonderful assortment of sweet and savory mouth watering items, drinks are coffee, teas, wine and beer. Of course midday I was thinking bubbles ! It took me a hot second to decide from the choices what to eat, so I went with the orange and raisin scone and my glass of bubbly. Also had some toast as it looked so good freshly cut. They have a nice seating area next to the cafe inside or several tables and chairs outside, and as nice as it was outside I went out. Loved the carbs here! The scone was crumbly and zesty, studded with raisins. Washed down well with my glass of bubbly, coffee would be great too! The toast was thick and chewy and so good, not processed tasting at all, freshly baked with good ingredients. Sat outside with lots of birds eager for me to drop something, but I ate every crumb. So delicious. Great place to get a snack anytime. Trust me the choices will leave to wanting to go back.

I arrived earlier than the standard check-in time and and was accommodated with my Marriott Gold Status. After completing some documentation I was provided my keycard and was given a guided tour to my room. The room was in nice condition and had a work desk which I needed. I turned on the thermostat as it was warm upon arrival. I attempted to set my room temperature to 18C but it would only allow me to set at 19C minimum. I went out to see the town for a few hours and came back and the room was still quite warm. I notified the staff and the offered to move me to a cooler room which I accepted. The second room was nice as well but was much cooler. The hotel is conveniently located in the Helsinki City Center and many destinations are walkable. This hotel has two places to eat, a bakery and a breakfast restaurant (buffet-style). I didn't attempt to eat here outside of breakfast as several restaurants are also located within walking distance. I can't say enough how polite and pleasant the staff is here. Four stars!

We were dropped at Hotel Scandic Paasi which was near the train station and surrounded by lush trees and nearby markets and restaurants. The Hotel is a 3/4 star rated and they had wines and crackers at the table, as we entered a dimly lit and small welcome and check in counter. I was assigned at the second floor and to my surprise, I had a huge bathtub and while we are saving water in California, they seem to have plenty in Finland. After all, they shared that they're surrounded by lakes and rivers, located all over the country. The room was well decorated, sheets smelled really great and the room was perfectly prepared. Knowing that we have two hours of free time, I filled the bathtub and soaked like a king, the water was perfectly warm and all the elements of a well- supplied bathroom was present. Yay! The hotel didn't serve breakfast so we have to meet at a nearby restaurant or order a special from their canteen. However, wine was readily available at their wine room? So, if you happen to visit Finland on a business or to do research, Hotel Scandic would be a perfect abode for a few nights. I assure you, the water is plenty, staff were absolutely Finnish-pectful and nice. Kiitos (Thank you in Finnish)!

I appreciated the hospitality throughout the stay from messages before check-in and ease of check-in to having my luggage held as I explored the city a bit more between check out and my flight. Booking and check in were easy, and my room was fantastic. The space was just what I needed as a solo traveler with a quiet room, nice views, sense of safety, clean space, plenty of high quality amenities and products (toiletries, coffee/tea and an in-room machine, etc), thoughtful storage built in, and a comfortable bed. It was VERY convenient to everything I wanted to access, whether walking distance to sites and shopping on my list or very easily walkable distance to public transit for further attractions and the airport. I did not add the breakfast option as I wanted to explore different local places each day, but it did look lovely and the space where breakfast was held was inviting. Having the rooftop bar to watch the sunset was a fantastic bonus! I can't say enough how much I appreciated my stay at Klaus K and would highly recommend for any future travelers. I hope to come back and will absolutely stay here again!

One of the biggest rooms I've stayed in Europe. The breakfast was amazing, so much variety, great fresh bread, coffee, hot breakfast, pastries, fruit. Way too much to eat! Super clean as well. They have a nice Italian restraint attached too, I had the best Affagato here. They have a small bar area by the reception, they have wine , beer and cocktails, and they let me watch the euro soccer finals here ! Great little place as I didn't want to Goto a crowded bar.
