Sadly I had my first visit and will be my last. No issue with my doctor I saw (she was great) but I have a big issue with their deceptive billing practices. Anything they do while in the room with you make sure you ask if that will be charged with a deductible/coinsurance. I wasn't told the not medically necessary zap of a spot on my leg would now cost me over $100 I asked the practice manager to refund that amount but was told no because there are signs up in the office. They need to inform patients of addition fees over the copay. Every other dermatologist office I've been to has always told me ahead of time about an additional cost and I had the option to continue or not. read more

I have used Dr. Green for several years. I make an appointment for every 6 months. I have received at least 3 text messages reminding of my appointment with Dr. Green. So I show up today for my appointment today and take a seat. I am called to the exam room and am told I am to see a different doctor. Dr. Green is in the office but only doing surgical appointments. I had this for 6 months and no one could inform me that I wouldn't be seeing my regular doctor! 7 weeks to get another appointment with Dr. Green. They need to run their practices much better if they want to retain patients. read more

I made an appointment with Dr. Glick bc my mom and best friend recommended him. I only had to wait a month. I drove to margate, paid for a baby sitter, and was excited to be seeing one of the top dermatologist. Unfortunately, I did not see Dr. Glick. When the doctor came in the room, he introduced himself as Alan (& I assumed it was Alan Glick). I couldn't figure out why people recommend him bc I didn't think anything special about the appointment. At the end, I asked who I thought was Dr.Glick, a question for my mom, who has cancer. I showed him a picture as well. His answer surprised me and made me think he really doesn't know his patients. On my way to pick up my daughter, I called my mom. I told her everything. That's when we discovered I did not see Dr. Glick. I called the office and complained. The manager told me I would have had to wait until February, which I would have gladly done to see the doctor I requested. Instead, I wasted my day, money on a babysitter, and time on the wrong doctor. I'm never going back. read more

6/20/2023 I was there for the first and last time on 6/7/2023. Before my appointment, I faxed some paperwork and never got a confirmation. I tried to call them and they never picked up the phone. Then I decided to bring along the paperwork for my visit and handed it to the front desk.They never returned it to me before I left and when I called to ask them to mail it to me, they mailed the copies and not the originals. I was told that they destroyed the originals. I was stunned not to have been notified before. That is unacceptable! I won't recommend that clinic to my best friends. read more

I recently had a MOHS procedure at the Glick institute in Margate. Having a potential cancer occurrence on my face ,I was a little apprehensive about my surgery and its ramifications. I visited the location, was seen promptly by Allison a medical assistant, who was fabulous. She laid out the process and made me feel comfortable right away with her professionalism and genuine concern. After she was finished with her preparations I was seen by Dr. Scanlan who was the ultimate professional with her knowledge, manner and her amazing touch. I felt no pain during the entire process which went exactly as planned and described. Went in as a first time patient and the check in registration was very unprofessional. She then starts treating one of the employees very rudely while I am in front of her. She also tear an existing employee who is elderly with an attitude. I have worked as front desk at an Internal Medicine doctor and I always had a smile on my file regardless if it was a good or bad day. I went in to see the doctor and she checked me in less than 15 minutes, which was less time than what was my waiting time. I will never come back here again. read more

But my concern it's , I have a biopsy done and they call me today at 4pm , they leave me a message , I call back and they are closed For the day , they close at exactly 4 pm , Come on !!!! BEST DECISION OF MY LIFE! Dr. Sandy Goldman is my hero!!  At the ripe age of 59, the signs of aging were showing especially under my chin and in my jowl area.  I was very self conscious and unhappy with my appearance. I was told by Allan Snyder, PA-C and Dr. Brad Glick that the best person to help me improve my appearance was Dr. Sandy Goldman who is double board certified. He's the best there is for this cosmetic surgery. It's called a lot of things including "S-Lift", "Mini Facelift", etc. I met him for a consult shortly thereafter and immediately felt a trust and a bond with him and immediately made an appointment to regain my self-esteem.  I knew immediately that I would be in the best caring and capable hands.  He's also a heck of a nice guy!  His assistants, Cindy and Cici, were AMAZING and incredibly caring and comforting!  The procedure was quick and painless! I went in for the procedure on Tuesday, 8/18 at 12pm and was home relaxing by 4pm.  I am amazed to report that I barely felt a thing!!  Not one bit of pain whatsoever!  My life is completely changed.  I'm 8 days into recovery.  My stitches came out yesterday.  There's a little more swelling to go down along with a bit of bruising.  A small price to pay to have 15 years of aging removed from my appearance that will maintain long lasting results.  The price was so incredibly affordable, too!   I can't believe I waited this long.  I will post pictures of just before pictures while I was getting ready to walk in for my appointment and my "thus far" pictures.  I'll update as I completely heal.  Again, absolutely NO PAIN WHATSOEVER.  Just plan on staying home for 3 days to be able to go out and about again.  I'm very proud to show off the new and improved me!  I'm a raving fan of Dr. Goldman!! read more

Terrible customer service. They made a mistake with my appointment and they did not have the professionalism to sort it out. They made the appointment in my daughters name and when I arrived with my son they said the doctor could not see him. That is ridiculous specially when I called in twice to let them know they had the wrong name. No effort what so ever to solve the problem. The doctor had the time because we did have an appointment. Worst office staff ever.. I cant speak for how the doctors are. But they should really take some time to evaluate their office staff and fire their office manager if this is how the office manager allows their staff to act and talk to customers.. first time calling the office to ask some questions, The girl answers the phone like a teenager that just got dumped by her boyfriend.. extremely rude and unprofessional.. seemed annoyed that she had to answer a phone and answer a few questions.. at one point my phone was cutting out, and she went crazy.. the second call was not much better with another lady.. also rude and annoyed to make an appointment.. when we made the appointment, we told her what insurance we had and she said they took and and made the appointment.. The appointment was in middle of the day, so I had to take day off work to go which is typical, but when I arrived and signed in, the front desk girl says that I have to have a referal... WHAT!!!! I asked why didnt they tell me that when I asked them about the insurance when making an appointment... again, this girls attitude was completely unprofessional.. no appologies.. nothing.. She just portrayed an attitude of annoyance and rudeness.. I have never left a negative review about any Dr because of their staff because I have always felt that its not a true review of the Dr.. but honestly this office staff is seriously the worst I have encountered and the Doctors of this practice should now that their staff is reflecting a bad impression on their practice.. read more

Where's the option for ZERO STARS?? DO NOT waste your time with this practice, it was the most disappointing healthcare experience I've ever had! I was referred to Glick Skin Institute by the manufacturer of the Xtrac device to treat psoriasis. My consultation visit was with Dr. Milman who seemed to be bothered by the fact that I was there to discuss my psoriasis. She sat a few feet away from me and never even touched me to examine my skin. It is easy to see on my legs and arms but at no time did she ask to examine the rest of my body. I could have had it in my scalp but she would not know. She was totally discouraging about the Xtrac treatment and kept trying to push biologic treatments despite me saying I could not take them due to immune system issues. We compromised on creams for psoriasis. While I was there I asked her to examine an odd looking skin issue on the back of my leg. Again, she seemed bothered, maybe because she would have to put on gloves and actually touch me, but she did examine it and said it needed to be biopsied. I feel like once she found one suspicious growth she should have asked to do a complete skin check but she did not. Well, a week later she calls me to advise that it was an early Melanoma and needed to be surgically removed. She then said she would have her assistant refer me to a general surgeon and that was it. No explanation of the type of melanoma or what I could expect, no suggestion to return for a full skin check either. She just gave me the results in a cold manner and passed the phone to the assistant. From start to finish, I felt like Dr. Milman did not care for me, the patient. read more

A disappoint. Sandy Goldman saw me and it was my first time seeing a dermatologist so I had questions. Isn't that the reason we see a specialist? To learn and prevent PLUS it's my money I'm giving you. He seemed rushed and advised we begin with freezing the warts. Yup it was warts. I asked him how do warts begin? What should I do post treatment? What should I expect post treatment? What are the alternatives to the freeze treatment? He charged me an arm and a leg for 5 minutes of his time. Then he said I'll see ya in X weeks. Meanwhile I'm telling myself, "Yea don't bet on it." My finger swelled up from the treatment and the worst part... it came back even worse after the swelling dissipated. So instead of going to see him I went elsewhere and they did the same thing! 3rd time is a charm though right? I went to another place and they advised I dab the area with some Compound W for the next 7-8 weeks. 6 weeks later, warts were gone. read more

I have been going to Dr. Glick for several years now. Whenever he's seen something suspicious, the biopsy results have typically shown that attention was needed. He did two surgeries on my chest several years ago and scars are hardly visible. Recently I required surgery for basal cell & squamous cell on my face, so he recommended Dr. Scanlon for Mohs surgery since it was the face. She got clean margins both times on the first shot and scars are healing nicely. Although Dr. Glick is clearly very busy with so many patients each day, he always takes the time to concisely explain his findings & recommendations and always takes the time to answer my questions. I'm very happy that I discovered Glick Skin Insitute and their new offices are always comfortable and clean. I would recommend Dr. Glick & Dr. Scanlon. read more

I was insulted by Dr. Alan when I went to my appointment. I asked him what I could do for my chest area and he replied there is nothing you can do. I asked again about the area and he said well it would cost alot of money and it is not covered on insurance. He was indicating that I look poor so I must be poor and cannot afford the procedure. He was relunctant to give me information and then I asked about rosacea on my face and the doctor from your office gave me topical cream, Dr. Alan replied that doesn't work. So why is your office perscribing things that don't work? I"m paying for a perscription that does not work? Why? I'm very upset at my treatment from Crissy the Office Manager when I called and asked why no one is calling me back about rosacea treatments. Two months and I've been trying to get answers. I love the Glick Skin Institute. I had my usual 6 month body scan done my first time here and the PA found a freckle on the bottom of my foot that looked questionable and a bump above my breast that he said looked like Basal Cell. Biopsies were taken and he was right. Basal Cell and the one on my foot was a pre-cancerous mole that needed to be removed also. Because of their locations, suggested I might want to go to a plastic surgeon, which I appreciated. I have a list of ones my insurance would accept and Dr Glick suggested one he liked. Unfortunately, so did everyone else and they couldn't get me in for 3 months!! Had a consult with another one I picked and after hearing him yell at his assistant and front desk staff, I decided to go elsewhere. Called Dr Glick and he said he could remove both for me if I chose him but scars may be larger. Because of my frustration over not being able to see a plastic surgeon and just wanting the cancer gone, I agreed and he had his assistant book me an appt a week after once my insurance approved it. He even came in extra early, before normal business hrs to do it so he could remove them for me. He and his assistants were wonderful and explained everything so my husband and I could understand. That was 2wks ago. Since then, the pain after the surgery was minimal, pathology results came back that Dr Glick had gotten it all out and I'm very surprised by how small my wounds are. Sutures come out today and I couldn't be more pleased. Dr Glick and his whole team are wonderful, patient and kind. Couldn't ask for better. My husband and I feel very comfortable putting my skin cancer issues in their capable hands. read more

I do not have an opinion about Dr. Glick because I don't have the patience to wait 3 months to see him. But the other doctors in the office I would never recommend. Brought my son in for large cyst on face. Doctor gave him a shot in cyst. Days later cyst and eye began to swell. Brought son in again. Dr. Denise prescribed antibiotics and warm compress. Then for reasons unknown she starts pointing to areas on my sons face and telling him he will have permanent scaring. Does this lady have any compassion or bedside manner. A teenage boy with acne already has a complex. We were there for a cyst, why would she make a comment like that. Then several days later cyst continued to swell. Called office. Told office about shot in cyst and swelling. Office asked why shot was given, stated those shots are usually prep for surgery. They are asking me! This place seems to be incompetent. Dr. Glick, his residents, his Nurse and front desk staff were Prompt, Professional, Efficient, Kind, and the whole facility was extremely Clean. I could not have had a better medical experience.
