I sat in the room until 8:35, then got up to ask a staff member how much longer it would be before the doctor would come in only to learn that he was not even there yet. I guess the staff was assuming I would just sit there for however long it took for him to arrive and not tell me a thing. Totally unprofessional in how that was handled. The reception staff were great and helpful; the nursing staff in the back, not at all. I did have some concerns for the doctor but I guess they wont get addressed since I wont be going back there. I explained to them that it was their practice that schedule the appt and already had her insurance information, why didn't someone notice this and call earlier to cancel or tell us they don't take the insurance. The office staff was not nice about it and told me well the doctor needs to get paid. Insurance was united healthcare Medicare advantage plan. They take the Medicare part but not the advantage or united healthcare.
