Our first visit was with Nancy who was the previous coordinator. She was great! Once we decided to book this venue Nancy was no longer with Unity and Heidi had taken over. Heidi is the reason for a one star. We met with Heidi several times before the wedding. She was never there for the appointments saying she put it for the following week. She had no clue who we were when she finally did show up. One of the things that is in the contract is that we would get a coordinator for the rehersal and day of the wedding for the entire wedding. Heidi Assured me that if I labeled everything she would set it up. An hour before the wedding nothing had been set up. The groom had to direct everyone on where to set things up. She also let me know that there would be 3 coordinators throughout the event (Heidi, her daughter, and Aribella). I was really trusting in Heidi to set things up. I went through every single decoration and labeled where it went. The coordinators set nothing up. Nothing. Also the last coordinator left 2 hours before the wedding ended. I am shocked at how poorly everything was handled. The venue alone has many perks but the service was awful.

The outdoor courtyard doesn't have natural shade, thus it is very exposed to the sun. Please make sure that you have enough umbrellas for your guests, as the wedding I attended there were only enough umbrellas for maybe half of the tables, and even the tables that were fortunate to have an umbrella it was not enough shade could not cover everyone at the table, so guests were standing under the archway to get of out of the heat, because people were burning up, especially the men in their full suits. An option would also to be invest in a misting fan. Second observation, at the wedding we attended, the dinner tables were outside while the dance floor was inside a building. This made it rather awkward and separated. I would recommend putting a dance floor outside to make it more welcoming and encompassing as one event.

What a special day getting to celebrate a special friend's wedding at Vine Hill House. As part of…read morethe bridal party, we spent the entire morning getting ready in the cottage on-site. The space was lovely and spacious. It had a full kitchen that allowed us to snack and stay hydrated throughout the morning. We were all able to gather in the area to have hair and make-up done, but there were also side rooms available for changing and getting ready. The cottage itself is lovely and create a picturesque backdrop for first look photos on the porch. The ceremony site felt intimate under the trees and the dinner area had a beautiful view of the vineyards. This special venue has such a great set up. As a guest, it was nice that everything was all on-site, but there were clear areas that helped designate the reception area from the ceremony turned dance floor. One cool feature was that the bride and groom utilized a side bar area next to the dance floor for a whiskey tasting lounge. It was a unique touch that made their wedding stand out! The venue owner, Dan, was HIGHLY involved throughout the day. He was highly attentive, but also highly present. Something to keep in mind if you'd prefer more behind the scenes vendors. What a joy getting to witness such special friends getting married in such a beautiful place!

The entire property is breathtaking and there is nothing better than the sight and smell of fresh roses everywhere! Our guests raved (and even a year out they're still dropping us compliments) about how gorgeous the Belvedere lawn area and Secret Garden were, which is where we held our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. The koi pond is a hidden gem that we loved doing our first look at. Working with Jessica made planning our vision for the day feel so easy. She is so kind, responsive, generous, and professional. She and the team had also worked with many of our other vendors who were local to the area, so we felt at ease knowing everything would go just as planned on such a busy day. When you drop in, it feels awkwardly like walking into someone's private home. People use it for events- and that makes sense. It's an events space rather than a historic one. The people are friendly. It's historic, but not impressive. She arrived with a helper well ahead of time, was extremely attentive to the details of our venue and the timing, after we had aperitifs outdoors she suggested a group photo and offered to fill in as photographer. This was a great idea since it was the golden hour and nothing we could have staged as well later at the table. It's like a haunted house, cobwebs and all. We left and went to the Flamingo Hotel. Awesome. The advertising that it did not include breakfast was hidden behind a button and not out front. They posted no breakfast next to the listing after I was surprised about no breakfast with the Milkroom. Although even with breakfast and a dancing bear we could NEVER have stayed in this dump.
