I walked into the Glendale Pawn Shop and was greeted by Sammy who also took the time to have a nice conversation with me. I am new to the area and I am glad I stopped by and look forward to returning in the near future. read more

They are not honest. The employees all give different types of information when you call in and then when you walk in, it's a different story they try to charge you extra once you walk in, it's never what's actually on the contract then they try to give you some excuse that doesn't even make sense . Half the time their system is down or doesn't work they tell you to waste your time and come back on a different day. The employees are also very rude. I have been going to them for years, but I definitely will not do business with them again. I believe it's ran by new management and owner and the business is definitely not the same. I read your response back to my review and we both know it's a complete lie. So unprofessional of you as the owner to lie and say that I yelled at the employee, I was upset, which I most definitely had the right to be but I would never yell not my character or who I am, as a business owner and supervisor, you are obviously not doing your job correctly because you have not trained your employees to be respectful and apologetic when they are at the wrong but you as a business owner yourself had zero respect to apologize for something that clearly a customer is upset about and isn't in the wrong. You should know better as an owner very bad way to run business . You were not the one who spoke to me over the phone so for you to assume you know what information your employee gave me when as a customer I told you exactly what happened when I called in by phone. I was told bring the tickets in she did not once mentioned that the tickets for the same item have to be on a certain date or we will just charge you more. If it's the same item and you're able to pull it up on your system then all you were doing is just giving me a hard time like I said to make extra money off of what you already made from my jewelry for the many years I've been coming to this pawnshop. Again very poor customer service and very unprofessional, especially you as an owner for not taking responsibility at least apologizing to the customer and making sure customers leave happy so they can come back again and or refer other people. Like I mentioned, very disappointing and I will not do business with you again and unfortunately, I will let my family and friends know about my experience as well. Wishing your business luck hopefully next time you will treat customers better and you will train your employees to show more respect to customers and to give accurate information.. Not the first time anyone's left you a bad review on rude employees. So please don't blame the customer Do a better job training your employees. read more

I literally walked in asking to see if I could sell or pawn my SILVER but before they even looked at it some lady from behind the glass just yelled "NO!" So I walked out. Terrible way to do business, no clue why people come here ‍ read more

I recently got a collateral loan from Glendale Pawn shop and I want to recommend them to who ever is in need of a loan or even want to purchase from them. The staff treated me top notch, considering that I visited a couple of other pawn shops prior to visiting Glendale Pawn shop and felt that the other places wanted to take advantage of me at a voulnerable moment. Glendale Pawn shop was more than reasonable and even offered me DOUBLE of what their competitors were willing to offer me. They kept their word and made the transaction fast and easy!! Thank you I will definitely be back to do business. read more

One of the best pawn shops around. They really work with you and are very knowledgeable about what they take in. I have had nothing but the best experience there and I would recommend them any time. They have a wide selection of items to purchase and I always get the best bang for my buck. Great staff and very attentive. Keep up the great work. read more

Glendale pawn was recommended to me by a friend. I sold some family jewelry at a very fair price. The staff was extremely friendly and spent a lot of time answering my questions. I was also looking to buy a gift and the owner came out and helped me pick out an amazing Chanel wallet! I had an exceptional experience and can't wait to go back again! read more

I have been coming to Glendale pawnshop for many years now. The staff has always treated me great, gave me a an excellent price on gold jewelry I liked, and even allowed me to use layaway on some larger items I've bought from them. All in all this is one of the best pawn shops in LA with some of the best people working in it. If you're ever in Glendale and looking for a great deal, this is your place. Maria will always go above and beyond to make sure you get the best deal possible. read more

Glendale Pawn Shop is absolutely fantastic. I purchased a couple things and fell in love with all my purchases. The owner is real sweet and helped me with all my needs. Glendale Pawn Shop has fantastic jewelry and lots and lots of cool vintage items that you will not see elsewhere. read more

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Terrible customer service. They gave me an attitude whenever I was asking questions. If someone hates their job so much, why not just work somewhere else or something? They seriously lack customer service skills and knowledge on used vintage items. Take your business elsewhere!!! They do not appreciate it here!!!! Avoid avoid avoid!!!!!!! read more

I'm not one to share my personal info on social media but in this case, I need to. Our family was struggling financially for a bit and we were referred over to Glendale Pawn Shop. I was embarrassed walking knowing my situation- but they made me feel comfortable. I've never pawned anything. But they helped me in a tight pinch. After it was all done..well let me tell you they have a whole little hidden gem of a store. I gotten bitten by them. I've purchased preloved name brand purses, I bought myself a BEAUTIFUL diamond pendant...it is an amazing piece. I just purchased new diamond earrings...so excited about these. The best part of them is that they have layaway plans. Which works perfect for me - the earrings are my birthday gift to myself. You have to stop by and take a look..great deals!! You got nothing to lose! Very friendly and professional. read more

Waste of time and gas. They only offer 15% of eBay sales prices for items, if you're lucky. You are better of selling blood as it will be a more pleasant experience. read more

Love this place, best rates for Gold and old coins.

Worst experience I've ever dealt with. They deleted all my data off of my pc when they shouldn't have even been logging into my pc. Completely illegal and a violation of my personal data as well as destruction of personal property. Please stay away from this place for your own safety. read more

These people are incompetent and liars. I was trying to pawn some rare coins, Morgan Dollars, Trade Dollars and others and the woman told me that she would have to talk to her boss and took the coins into a back room (out of my sight) without even asking if that was okay! In the coin business that is a big no no. Since the boss man didn't trust his employee to make a decision he "had to look at them personally." I tried to leave my number with the woman and they said they don't call customers.. How stupid is that! They expected me to periodically call them to see if he was in. On top of that she told me that if i backed the loan by silver weight alone they would have to take 30% off the value because thats what they lose when they melt it. This is bullshit, Morgan Dollars and Trade Dollars are 90% silver. What a load of shit. Dont trust them, they wont give you a fair price... read more

I've been a customer of them for about 10 years... They have always had the best customer service and I truly feel they have the best of intentions! I wouldn't trust another Pawn Shop the way I do!!! read more
