From the very beginning, the teachers and staff have gone above and beyond--not just to "watch" the kids, but to truly teach, nurture, and connect with them. The growth I've seen in my children has been incredible. My oldest has graduated out but my youngest comes home excited, confident, and full of new things he's learned. What stands out most to me is how intentional the focus is on true development and connection. They don't teach just about letters, numbers, or milestones--they help each child grow into themselves with kindness, curiosity, and confidence. As a parent, specifically a single parent, I'm especially grateful for how seamlessly their approach aligns with the way I raise my children at home. The parallels between their teaching style and my parenting make it easy for my kids to absorb and retain what they're learning, which has made a huge difference in their growth. It's rare to find a place where you feel your children are not only safe, but also understood, supported, and genuinely loved. That's exactly what this center has given us. This morning, Callie accidentally left her laptop at home, so I brought it to the school around 9:00 AM. When I dropped it off at the front desk, the receptionist Mellisa mentioned that she "might be able to get it to her." I assumed she was joking, so I left it with her. Later in the day, I found out that Callie never received her laptop. When I returned to the front desk, I expressed that if it wasn't going to be delivered to her, I would have preferred to take it back with me. The receptionist mentioned that she thought it was for homework, but in fact, Callie needed it for classwork during her last period today. I also want to note that this is only the second time Callie has forgotten her laptop, yet the receptionist claimed it had happened three or four times, which is simply not true. I was disappointed to hear an inaccurate statement about my daughter's track record, especially when it could impact how she is perceived. I wanted to make you aware of this situation because it caused Callie to miss an important class activity. I understand everyone is busy, but I hope we can ensure that items critical to a student's classwork are delivered in a timely manner in the future and that communication remains accurate and respectful. Based on my experience, observation, and discussions with the actual Parent of attending child, my review is as follows: The school appears to be an average structured school with the basic parent teacher meetings, etc. The child had no real complaints about it. My suggestions and observations are as follows: * Have a more direct communication channel between the parent and teacher, without child * Have any and all documentations electronically sent to parent's email or even posted to drop box or site, as children do not always provide on time. * Make it a requirement to have actual homework and book reading * All in all, there seems to be a little to much flexibility

Tonight we attended the North Pointe Prep's musical theater production of 7 Brides for 7 Brothers…read more It was wonderfully cast and enthusiastically performed. Student actors were talented, student lighting, sound and technical crews were skilled, and the student created sets were beautiful! You could tell that the director taught the students about their craft, and had them fully invested. For parents seeking a school with a strong Theater program for their students, North Pointe is a great option! Well done, Falcon Players!
