The filler started shifting upwards beyond my natural lip line and I figured getting more filler would correct the problem. I had a consult with Shelly and she recommended we dissolve the filler and start from scratch. She is so knowledgeable and I'm really happy to start new with her! The same day, I had my first Kybella treatment under my neck (about 20 needle pokes). So many needle pricks that day, I usually get really nervous with procedures but Shelly kept me calm and most importantly she numbed EVERYTHING before injecting the lip dissolving acid and Kybella on my neck. I was not in pain vs. the surgeon down the street in Longmeadow who did not even give me numbing cream before my lip filler. Shelly mentioned this is standard in her procedure and that alone should be a reason to book an appointment with her. I'm looking forward to coming back next week for filler that looks natural again!

The office staff was very nice. But Dr. Spink acted like his skin was crawling in response to questions. He didn't seem to like that I wasn't a standard patient. He argued with me. He was so off-putting and so not confidence-inspiring that I went elsewhere and had the oral surgery done WHILE AWAKE and spent a YEAR paying it off, just so that I never had to see him again, let alone trust him with my life under anesthesia. I suspect there are aspects of his job that he is very good at. I suspect there are other surgeons at this office who are adequate. I suspect some people would be happy with him. Me, I recently tried a local free clinic and found them far superior, even if they don't provide all types of dental care. I would only consider seeing Spink if you ask no questions (not advisable) and have ZERO special medical considerations. Or maybe just ask for someone else if you go to this practice. I found Spink's table-side manner atrocious, which is one thing, but being unable to discuss questions is dangerous. It's suspect, for one, but also, patients can get hurt if all factors aren't on the table. Do your research and choose the right doctor for anything invasive or that involves anesthetics! Warning: When I was there, they were scenting the office with synthetic chemical/toxic oil fragrance (I have never in my life been to a SCENTED dental office). Any medical office that does this is questionable, as such products are not only health hazards, they specifically harm those with asthma, allergies and chemical sensitivities. This office is clearly not representative of the more progressive valley. Unless they've stopped this, choose another practice if you want to breathe easily and/or don't want to leave smelling like what I imagine a cheap bordello smells like.

After having been given the runaround for 4 months, trying to get the treatment I paid for, I hit a…read morewall. My appointments were repeatedly canceled, the product needed for the treatment did not arrive on two occasions, the doctor went away on vacation, etc, etc. At my last visit, after waiting an hour for the UPS driver to deliver the product, I specifically asked if the doctor would be there for my appointment the following week and was strongly assured he would be. The day prior to that appointment I received a call to cancel due to the Big E. This business has been around long enough to be well aware of the traffic patterns that are more than a mile away. To receive a cancellation notice at that point was absurd! I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Months apart I was assured my money would be refunded. A year after paying for the procedure I am still waiting for my funds to be returned to me. I am now in the process of filing a complaint with Small Claims Court as I have run out of options and patience with this business. They ought to be ashamed of themselves and the way they treat their clients!
