You WILL wait for 45-60 minutes past your appointment time. Ironically, you will get reminder texts every day the week before the appointment threatening a $25 fee if you miss the appointment. (You get nothing when they waste your time, though.) They will not care, and you will NOT get a response to your phone inquiries at all. It's a shame. They used to be good.

I didn't have to wait long before we were taken to the exam room, and the nurse was very nice when we were waiting for the surgeon (Dr. Wu). Once Dr. Wu arrived, there was some extensive debate about whether I should have the lipoma removed, as he was kind of blindsided by the fact that I had a wedding coming up in about a month and a half :) My first appointment was with the Binz location - they should have passed that information along to the doctor, so it wasn't the Pearland location's fault. Anyway, after much debate, we decided to go through with the lipoma removal and chose options (such as a certain kind of dissolving internal stitch) that would reduce the chance that my lipoma site would look ugly on my wedding day. The surgery itself was pretty straightforward - of course, getting shot up with lots of lidocaine wasn't necessary pleasant, but it made the surgery pretty much painless :) Dr. Wu called the next day to check up on me, so that was nice as well. ~Three weeks later, my lipoma site looks pretty awesome - the scar is thin and difficult to see, and I'm very happy with the way I look. So why not 5 stars? Well, Dr. Wu's bedside manner was OK but not the best I've ever experienced. For me, a 5 star experience means that every aspect was great, and it seemed like Dr. Wu was cycling between different patients and trying to fit in as much as possible into his schedule. Conversation with him also felt a tiny bit awkward. Overall, not a huge deal though, especially considering he did such a good job with my lipoma removal. I would definitely consider coming back to this location for any future issues (fingers crossed that the lipoma doesn't grow back!).
