We visit Lancaster…read moreevery year and decided to switch gears and stop here and honestly, it was one of those why didn't we do this sooner? moments. Set on rolling Pennsylvania countryside, the views are straight out of a postcard. It's peaceful, scenic, and exactly the kind of place where time slows down (in the best way). The wine list is well thought out, approachable yet refined, with something for every palate. Nothing felt mass-produced or rushed and each pour had intention behind it. The staff deserves real credit: knowledgeable, welcoming, and genuinely proud of what they're pouring. They guide you without the wine snob energy, which makes the experience feel relaxed and inviting, whether you're a casual sipper or a full-on wine enthusiast. This stop elevated our Lancaster trip and added a fresh layer to a tradition we already love. Grandview Vineyard isn't just a winery, it's an experience worth building into your itinerary. We'll be back. No question. For photos, wine highlights, and more travel-food stops worth the drive, check out @travelingtastebuds_

It doesn't necessarily look like that as you drive up. The only downfall is that there is only one restroom. The pricing seemed decent. I was super pleased that they had a small selection of mocktails. Their strawberry lemonade spritz wasn't too sweet or too tart! It was just right. My friends seemed to enjoy all the wine choices! Additionally, the crab pretzel was amazing!! The charcuterie boards looked worth it. Plenty of seating and a live band was set up around 6/630, but we left just as they were coming in. Highly recommend and would come back (even as a sober lady!).

We don't even bother with the maryland rennaissance Faire because the PA one is so much more accessible. Most, if not all, of the shops have ramps. Though some shops, like the dice shop, are so tiny inside its a big mistake to take a wheelchair inside. The women's bathroom/privy before you go through the gates needs a lot of work. Toilets are clogged before the gates even open at 11am. Some toilets rock when you sit on them because they're not properly affixed to the floor. There's only one accessible stall and it was clogged this time which meant I had to use a much too small stall, with the door open because my chair was in the way. The food is, as you can imagine, expensive. $9 for chicken tenders, which I found dry. I got an iced coffee at The Dark Knight... and the server seemed angry to be there. She told us there weren't any lids for the cup, when there were plenty of other cups with lids... driving downhill in a wheelchair while carrying a cup, with liquid sloshing all over the place is not my idea of fun. And it wasn't even any good. We were super stoked to find the TARDIS. And I have my eye on a fancy hat I want to buy when we return for their Halloween experience. I hope I have more money then cuz handmade goods can be costly.

This was a very different thing than I expected. I'm giving it 5 stars for what it is (rather than…read morewhat I was expecting). 1) Their wine is all from Northern California. If you're thinking you'll be trying PA wines, that is not the case. If you're wanting a change from PA wines, this is a great opportunity! 2) This is a wine tasting place in a strip mall. From the outside it's extremely unassuming... but it's well labeled, so you can be confident you're in the right place. The inside looks as you'd like: spacious, clean, room to relax. As I was sitting inside, casually doing a tasting, I completely forgot we were in a strip mall. Well-done! An added bonus of the location: there are a LOT of good food choices nearby! The prices. Yowza! I did like some of the wines, but not enough to pay for the bottle (~$40). But I enjoyed a tasting ($10 for 4 tastings) and also ordered an extra glass of wine. They have 2 fixed tasting menus to choose from. I asked to switch out one of the wines for a different one, and that wasn't a problem at all. The customer service was nice. The woman was friendly and attentive, and not obtrusive or pushy. She was there when I wanted her, but was also content to let me sit, relax, and enjoy the wine. I love the ambience. There are a lot of tables and chairs, placed nicely around so you can enjoy your own space or have a nice drink with friends without being on top of each other. A wine bar of sorts. It is nicely decorated - feels warm and welcoming.

It's in a strip mall, but is quite large and nice inside with artwork and wine themed displays. It just seems like they are incredibly overwhelmed when we come in. I don't know if they need more staff or what. I'm going to focus more on the most recent visit. I called to make reservations (you are supposed to) and the woman who was working seemed shocked that I wanted to make same day reservations. However, she agreed. We went in and there was some sort of loud group in one of the rooms. At first she seemed very attentive to us. However, the amount of wine poured for the tastings this time was so small and that was shocking. When you get the local flavor deal, apparently you are supposed to get bigger pours (this is what she ended up telling us and what we've been told before) You also get goat cheese, crackers, etc. which are quite nice. Also, really, their wine isn't great. It's more for the experience it took us this many times to really realize it. Anyways, after the first second tasting, our server vanished for about 20ish minutes. She finally came back to give us our 3rd tasting (you get 4) and that was it for at least another 20ish minutes. All in all we spent about an hour and a half and that was because of all the wait times. Another couple came in and sat at the bar who didn't have the deal; it was obvious they were worth the attention more than us local flavor people. I really advise them to stop doing this deal. They get overwhelmed easily and I ended up feeling like I was hounding them to serve us. I wanted a glass of wine (an actual glass at the end) and my wife had to go up to the woman to ask for one for me. It was over 13.00. Not worth it... I'd rather go get a nice cocktail some place for that price. Inevitably, The local flavor deal is not even that great of a deal, particularly when you feel like you are being put on the back burner in favor of other customers. We won't be going back.

They keep all the classics on hand - Naughty Marietta , Spicy Red, Niagara, Whisper White - and some seasonals as well. There's probably more inventory on hand at this location than the Rockvale store, but all the same great wines. The only downside is that it is located in the Fountain Shops area of Park City mall, which is a busy area, so you might have trouble finding parking. There are a few 15 minute parking spots available right across the street, but with no one policing them, it can take twice as long waiting for a space to open up. And depending on how many bottles of wine you're purchasing, you don't want to have to walk half a mile back to your car from the store. But if you're concerned, simply ask if they'll hold your box at the counter while you bring your car around to the front. The staff is very accommodating, and they understand the difficult parking situation.
