We received a run down on how the machine works, learned how to thread the machine and how to fill the bobbins. Then we made a denim tote bag. This was super easy and really fast. After lunch break is the 2nd project. If you don't have your fabric, the school can sell you fabric directly inside for $16 a yard. I bought my fabric elsewhere and brought it in. I honestly recommend doing this instead of buying it from them. Because you have to wash your fabric like how you wash your laundry regularly since it shrinks naturally. We picked our patterns and I made a skirt since a skirt is faster than pants. They recommended not to make pockets or else I'll run out of time. But I HAD to add pockets. Women's clothing have little or no pockets regularly. The instructors are extremely helpful and friendly. and they immediately notice if someone is struggling or stuck. This really impressed me. For example, when I was threading the bobbin, the spool of thread was running out. The teacher was immediately behind me with a brand new spool of the same color so I can swap it out when it was finished. That was a great eye for detail! Overall, highly recommend. Just bring in your own 3 yards of cotton fabric, already washed and dried, for the 2nd project!

Crop Circles Tattoos has to be hands down the most inviting, clean, and most professional tattoo shop I have visited in Corona. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a smile. I walked in with my friend so she can get pierced and walked out with an AWSOME tattoo. I showed them a picture of the tattoo I wanted and told Michael (one of the tattoo artist) that he can put his own spin on it. I got a zombie candy corn. When he showed me what he did with it, it was like if he knew exactly what was going on in my head. It was perfect! 100 times better than the original picture I showed him. I was really nervous but Michael made me feel so comfortable and allowed me to take breaks as needed. His work is insane. The line work, shading, everything was on point. Out of all my tattoos I have this is the BEST one to date, cannot wait until it heals. Michael is super talented; he will definitely be seeing me again. Spending an afternoon at The Arm is a wonderful gift idea…read more The Arm is a letterpress printshop and I recently had a great time building posters by hand here while celebrating a friend's birthday. Dan, the shop owner, patiently and kindly guided us through the process. Dan made us feel at home, and carefully ensured our poster templates were made correctly. Thanks to him our posters came out great despite us being total novices at this. TIP: I would advise you to have some poster ideas before arriving. You will want to spend your time here choosing and arranging your letter templates instead of brainstorming some ideas.

The class sizes are small so the kids have a pretty good teacher to student ratio. They also hold events like Father's Day, math summer camp, Halloween and dance performances for the kids, where the children can get their makeup/face painted and take home free DIY arts and crafts. I personally took an adult yoga class at their huge annex (a few blocks away) and was really impressed. It was a small class in a newly renovated dance space, and I didn't feel intimidated as a beginner, which was perfect. I'm looking forward to attending more classes soon!

A lady called Helen kept pushing us to buy their product, and force my daughter to join the class which she clearly didn't want to. Also, she pretended to be very nice to my kid, that didn't sign up yet. But I overheard she shouted to other kids at another room, I guess they are her own kids. It's also unprofessional to bring her own kids to the workplace. The place is at the underground, it's damp and no fresh air. Don't recommend for young kids.
