Some people even wore homemade costumes. There were several pieces of really cool art displayed in the center's small exhibition spaces. JCAL puts on many events throughout the year, from jazz concerts to children's festivals, as well as other music events, arts/crafts/jewelry making workshops. They have rotating art exhibits. They also have art classes and educational programs. A true community space, made for members of the community, in a lively enclave of Queens.

We attempted to cancel because, what is the point of attending 1 of 5 classes where no outcome could be possible (a 3D toy would be printed at the end). Madison gave us a hard time in canceling, would not refund in full, wanted to keep our 'enrollment fee', absolutely ridiculous. This business will do everything in their power to keep your money for services not rendered. I do not recommend and will boycott this location to the very end.
