Mowing accident Left me without a back glass. Replaced it pretty quick, and did a good job.

Took my car in after the regulator in my wife's car went out and the window fell inside the door…read more Got a quote on what it would take to replace and asked if they could temporarily get the window back up until we could bring it in to get it fixed permanently. Paid $40.00 to get them to do that. About a day later, the window starts slipping and slowly going back down. The window is loose, rattling, and it's cold outside, so my wife is freezing trying to drive to work. Annoyed, I decide to see if I could get the window back up myself to avoid having to take it back in. Watched a YouTube video on how to do it. When I took the interior door panel off, I find out that Ralph's glass shop has shredded the insulating lining on the inside of the door. Rather than take their time pulling the lining back, they tore it to pieces. Then I found out that SEVERAL of the key screws that mount the regulator and motor were either loose or completely missing. This door / window had never been serviced before. The biggest shocker was when I looked to see how they had "fixed" my window in getting it back up. They had cut a piece of cheap wood paneling trim, notched it. And stuck it under the glass inside my door to hold it up! I kid you not! THIS is how the "professionals" did their job! Apparently $40.00 at Ralph's Glass Shop will get your insulating lining shredded, your screws lost or left loose, and a cheap wooden stick shoved under your window that won't keep your window up for even a day! So rather than take it back in and pay them $200.00 + dollars to make the permanent repair, I ordered the regulator online for $30.00, watched another YouTube video, and fixed the thing myself! Lesson learned, money saved, skill mastered, and customer lost for life by Ralph's Glass Shop! Run, don't walk to the nearest exit before giving Ralph's Glass Shop your business!
